Since there is no āmandateā, only fleet mileage rules, the only thing they can do is propose to modify the fleet mileage rules. That would presumably get tied up in court though of course heās pretty well promised to end the rule of law over the executive branch, so he might just do it.
Anyone know if they are expected to release August deals on 8/1?
Do we know if Lucid will give the benefit of new incentives to a car thatās reserved but still within the cancellation period?

Feel free to dm me if u have any questions about the car. I was able to get delivery of the car after a cumbersome process. Appreciate everyoneās help on the forum. I had quite a bit of trouble during the process. Errors in the paperwork. Poor communication between delivery center and sales rep. Discounts were not properly listed. Paperwork had to be redone multiple times. Wire issues by Wells Fargo on lucid side. Last minute damage noticed by delivery center and they were asking me to still take delivery of the car/fix later but I asked them to fix it first which lead to delay. Car was nice and polished on the outside but dusty inside. Trunk and frunk had dust/debris. After all that, so far greatly enjoying the car. Great driving dynamics.

Congrats!!. You will love it. I took mine for the first road trip around 560 miles round trip from North Dallas to Houston. Only charged at Houston - EA for free. Averaged 4.1 miles per KWh, with AC, phone charging, massage on and driving 5 above speed limit - a long stretch is 75 speed limit and drove at 80 on cruise for all of that. Drove through a huge storm with wipers and windshield heaters on. I am very impressed!
I heard the motor breaks in around 2000 miles or so and will give better miles per KWh. But what I got was darn good for my needs. I have RWD air pure.

Just wanted to give a heads up. The recent update increased the charging efficiency by 10% for 110v charging and 2% for 220v charging.
After the update, I had the car plugged into the 110v and my charger started acting up. I took it off after 10 minutes and it was so hot that it would have melted at any moment.
I looked through the updates and these were interesting updates:
INFOTAINMENT
- Range On Arrival: The Range on Arrival algorithm now uses real-time energy consumption and driving behavior from each individual vehicle to provide a more accurate estimate.
- FM Radio: Album art now displays more quickly on the Glass Cockpit when listening to FM radio.
- Lights-Off Mode: A button in the Left Cockpit Panel has been added to switch off all exterior lights when the vehicle is in Park.
- Drive Modes: The confirmation screen that appeared when switching to Sprint mode has been eliminated.
DYNAMIC POWER GAUGE
- The dynamic power gauge surrounding the speedometer now includes an indication when regenerative braking is limited due to cold battery temperature or high state of charge.
DREAMDRIVE
- Rear Parking Protection: Rear Parking Protection is now available in DreamDrive settings and can now apply the brakes automatically when backing up to avoid contact with nearby objects.
- Park Distance Warning: When Park Distance Warning is auto-launched on the screens and is then manually closed, auto-launch will remain deactivated until the vehicle reaches 50 mph to reduce false warnings in traffic.
CROSS TRAFFIC PROTECTION WARNING
- Cross Traffic Protection Warning now offers the choice of only providing a warning, without intervention.
CHARGING
- Charging Efficiency: Charging efficiency for Level 1 charging (120V) has been increased by 10%, and Level 2 charging (240V) has been improved by 2%.
- Battery Heating Profile: The battery heating profile has been improved, reducing the overall time and energy required for charging in cold temperatures.
LUCID MOBILE APP
- RangeXchange: RangeXchange sessions can now be monitored and controlled using the Lucid mobile app.
- Battery Preconditioning: Battery preconditioning control has been added to the Lucid mobile app.

I was lucky enough to get one of those insane April deals for a 2023 Air GT. Absolutely amazing car. The combination of performance, luxury and styling is striking.
What is everyoneās experience with range? When I drive āperformanceā style, I get 2.7 m/kwh, and if I drive conservatively to preserve battery, I can barely squeeze it over 3.3 m/kwh. And weāre talking very conservative driving (freeways speeds at 65 or lower, etc.).
I donāt know if the 21" wheels are the culprit here, but I usually end up getting 260-290 miles of range on a 90% charge.
Total miles driven so far is 1950.

My '23 GT on 20" can hit 4 mi/kwh at 70 mph on the highway with minimal climate control and cruise / highway assist active.
In-town driving brings it closer to 3 mi / kwh.
Heavy AC in summer plus 100% in-town driving brings it down to the low 2s.
FYI Iāve driven a loaner GT on the 21" for a week, and my 20" ride much better, plus better range and fewer blowouts.

Anyone else have a lot of trouble with their finance department? Each time they approve me, I accept the offer, then they tell me they need more information and rescind the offer. Itās pretty frustrating and does make you appreciate being able to walk into a dealership and walk out with a car same day.
Our Lucid is only in my wifeās name because their system glitched out and I was unable to add myself as co-borrower. I wasnāt rejected or anything, it just completely skipped the section for me to add my info. It got approved in her name and they said we would have to resubmit everything to add me so it wasnāt worth the effort. It wasnāt a big deal but definitely gave the impression that their whole operation is half baked (taking delivery of the car was also weird compared to every other car Iāve ever purchased).
