2025 Lexus Rz 300e SoCal Deal Check

You should 10000% not be leasing an EV with the intent to buy it after. The residual will be higher than the value of the car. Hell, the residual will be higher than the value of the car in a year.

EVs (as of now) are cars you lease for cheap, enjoy, and return & repeat the process.

If you’re going ahead with this plan and need to finance the buyout you should do that immediately after your account is online.

The interest savings on a new car loan vs a used car loan can be substantial.

Also I can beat this deal by $500 on the discount with no broker fee. Black exterior dapple grey interior.

949-775-1714.

Best structure would be $0 drives $4050 MSDs and $445pm 36/15k.

OP said mf is 2.5%. Regardless odds it will make sense to buy this are low.

Where are you located? In what color? Thanks for the message

OC or LA pickup. 949-775-1714. Black with dapple grey interior. Calculator is linked for you to adjust.

Sorry not quite sure what you mean.

Thank you much appreciated it.

Like others have said it will likely will be worth less than your buyout at the end of the lease. In which case the rational decision is to ground the vehicle at lease end.

Much improved 2026 is coming out any minute now, so June deals on 2025s may actually get better. Same with Toyota BZ (no longer 4x).

Lots of good advice re upping the mileage, not counting on buying it out, MSDs, etc above.

And, yes, look at ZDX which gives you some free charging options/credit which should offset at least some of the efficiency difference.

I used MSDs. That was a great advice. Saved 40$ a month. Plus put it on zero apr credit csrd

Attaboy! They wouldn’t do full one-pay on a cc?

They did for DAS too. I have also put the DAS into that zero apr credit card as well. Total of about 5800$ 12 month no interest. It should yield me about a 260$ income for that year with tbills.

I even don’t mention potential gain with covered calls i am selling, lol. This is hypothetical of course.

All about opportunity cost

Oh. Yeah likely.
Although considering the inflation and increase in new vehicle msrps, plus the 15k discount on msrp, it may not be that far away from residual. Unless i put 20k a year to it lol

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing with mine - new CCs with bonuses and zero interest. Also selling covered calls but got burned big time on NVDA and PLTR as they ran away on me.

That’s like $16k? For one of the worst EV’s?
Hard pass from me but to each their own.
I’m in a $9k single pay loaded Equinox EV, AWD RS, for 24 months, the only thing I’m not happy with is that they don’t offer an upgraded audio system. I replaced the speakers but it’s not enough, needs amplifier(s) but I’m not going that far with a lease. 18 months left…

I’d love to have a $369/mo. payment on our RZ450e. The 300e wasn’t available when we got our 450e. The DC charging speed on our 450e has never been an issue and I like how we can slow it down to give us time to eat.

I made my own sunshade for it, which is an absolute must in these parts.

I’d rather have the 300e for the improved range and efficiency. Our 450e isn’t bad but could be better. About 3.4 Miles/kWh in Summer and about 3.1 in winter here in SoCal. Range is about 200 miles even on the 18" wheels. Ours is a 2023, so hopefully they have made some further improvements.

It’s a solid, smooth EV and the HUD is nice too. I just wish our payment wasn’t $840/mo for another year+.

But yeah, get more miles. Even 10k wasn’t enough for my parents (they also have an RZ450e).

Thank you for your notes.

Absolutely most underrated ev IMHO.

Efficiency is great on these cars. Almost 4miles/kwh (3.9 average for me) is superior to many suv size EVs out there.

It is much better to get high mpg gas or hybrid car if the efficiency is low on EV. Electricity is not cheap in California.

Plus, I’d rather drive a lexus quality. Slow charging is not an issue either if you use home charger 90% of the time. In fact it does not financially sense to use paid fast charging.

My plan is to keep the car after lease. It does check the boxes I need. I used an egolf for 6 years, and this is definitely a step up, from range perspective
