2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid vs 2025 Hyundai Tuscon

I am just learning of One Pay, but someone in another topic here said that alot of regions still don’t do One Pay and my region is ALWAYS behind on EVERYTHING. We are part of the old rustbelt manufacturing regions of the midwest. Just slow and steady LOL nothing fancy. Don’t think outside of the box, don’t bring the coastal ideas here, even if they can make things better LOL

The financing option is something I barely considered. I plugged in a couple scenarios online and was mortified by the 600, 700 dollar a month payments. I simply refuse.

My LONG game was to lease now, the makret is still all over the place and super squirely. Dealerships at odds with manufacturers, interest rates trying to come down…I thought leasing for a couple/few years would get me a nice vehicle and at the end I could make decisions based on how the market (in theory) corrected itself.

There’s no foreseeable reason to wait beyond 12/31 if you are buying an ICEV or leasing an EV. Whatever post-covid corrections one could reasonably expect to happen, have happened.

Plenty of low APR deals on the former and plenty lease deals on the latter. If anything EV leases could be worse next year.

Interesting. It was very early on here, someone also from the midwest mentioned that, so I can’t verify.

That aside, if one pay is pretty common now, what are the pros vs cons? As I understand it, you basically pay the total amount of the lease upfront, then you get a MF discount and no monthly payments? The down side would be, heaven forbid, if you get in an accident, the money you put down is lost, right?

LOL geez, I hope not but I wouldn’t be surprised :frowning:

Thank you! I will take a peak…also, just curious, the info I got off Edmunds for a couple vehicles is not what is populating in the calculator here, has anyone else experienced this?
