2025 Kia Sorento S- Good Deal?

,

I am trying to lease a 2025 Kia Sorento AWD S. This is my first time leasing and I got the below offer. I really want to keep my payments around $440. Dealer says they cannot go any lower but I really feel like they can come down more. The money factor seems high and it looks like the price is off MSRP. I am trading in a vehicle that I have $1200 negative equity, I want a 12K or 15K miles term and want to put zero down :

Welcome. If you join as a Super Supporter (or ask in the appropriate Edmunds forum), you can check to see what the buy rate MF is.

I don’t see a monthly payment listed in the numbers you’ve provided. Please post your best attempt at a calculator and check the Marketplace to see how your offer compares.

I doubt that a Kia Sorento at 12–15K miles/yr and w/ some negative equity rolled in can be had in your stated range.

There is a $250 KIA lease cash and 0.00254 KIA Special Money Factor available.

With all this added and all the fees paid at signing (govt. fees, doc. fees, acquisition fees & upfront taxes) and a $35,000 selling price (before rebates) you’re at $398 monthly pre-tax.

I’d suggest getting the ratefindr on this forum so that you can see exactly all the offers available on the specific vehicle and you can play around with numbers to get to where you’d like.

You will likely need to reach out to multiple dealers and potentially put them against each other, this will typically help you getting the selling price down.

Look at the much better deals posted recently in the Marketplace such as the Hyundai Santa Fe.
