Hi, I’m new to leasing and am looking to get either a 2025 Kia K5 GT or a ‘24/25 Hyundai Sonata N-Line. I have excellent credit (>760).
I got this offer for the 25 Kia K5 GT:
36 mo/15k mi
$0 down
$543.62 per month for 36 mo
Selling price of car (after $990 rebate): $33,440
Out the door price (all fees included): $34,416
RV: 65% or $21,356
The sales guy said there is little to no wiggle room for the selling price of the car, but I would have hoped to get the total down. Also I am unsure how to calculate the money factor for this deal, I keep getting 0.0097 which I feel must be wrong. Any help with that is appreciated.
Finally, if anyone knows the MF or residual value for a Sonata N line for my area I would greatly appreciate it! Hopefully test driving one tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
If you sign up as a Super Supporter, you can access Ratefindr (which will give you the data you need to plug numbers into the calculator for your targeted deal).
Or you can obtain those numbers from the appropriate Edmunds forum for free.
I don’t know if an OTD price is particularly helpful in assessing a lease deal.
