NO! The deal is a mess. Not only is it structured poorly but the calculations are a bit off. Why on earth would you pay 5000 out of pocket upfront when you could leverage the 13000 rebate? The 4693.21 cash cap reduction is at risk. Suppose the car is totaled or stolen. You may lose all or part of that out-of-pocket cash. Also, a car is an expense, not an investment. It is also a depreciating asset. Also, why is the tax being capitalized? Now, you’re paying tax on tax not to mention the finance charge that’s levied on the tax.
I suggest that you split the 13000 rebate where a portion is allocated to pay upfront fees including 1st payment and taxes and the remaining balance used as a cap reduction. This way, you won’t have anything due at lease signing. If you’re interested and need assistance, PM me.
Similar to what Max said, also check my listing in private transfers, I have an outstanding deal for you for fully upgraded Equinox EV RS with super-cruise. You can transfer it if interested as you are in AZ state as well. EV6 may be better car but my listing is worth looking into for good monthly payments
