2025 Jeep Wagoneer S 24/7.5k - $2,800 down / $299+tax

I am attempting to hack a Jeep Wagoneer S at a few dealers, I was hoping to get into a First Edition with around $2,000 down and $250/mon for either 10k or 7.5k miles.

The dealer could only get close on a 2025 Limited model and wants $2,800 down.

MSRP: $67,590
Cap Cost (13% discount): $57,898
Residual: 68 % or $45,961
MF: .00236
Rebates included:
Consumer Cash: $6,500
Bonus Cash: $3,000
True Car (Dealer added): $1,653

Calculator attempt

He mentioned that the 2024 First Editions have another $3,000 in rebates, to bring the total closer to $12,500 without the ~$1,500 TrueCar.

Am I missing anything on this negotiation? I can ask for more off MSRP, as I typically aim for +15%. Another dealer has a 2024 First Edition and I am not sure if the additional $3,000 in rebates and a potential extra off MSRP negates the $5,000+ price difference.

I suspect you can do better in terms of a dealer discount. Research sell prices in your local market. Not sure which fund provider is being used but CCAP’s acquisition (bank) fee is 595, not 995.

The dealer worksheet includes an additional 85 doc fee that is not disclosed but is included in the Net cap. I’m assuming all dealer inputs are accurate, but I have not vetted them… that’s on you  I performed all calculations manually and they are accurate.

Here is why you owe 2800 at lease signing (DAS). NOTE: A portion of it (653.62) is used as a down payment (i.e., cap reduction). The balance is used to partially cover upfront fees as follows…

1st payment 328.15
CCR 11153.62 … = 10500.00 + 653.62
CCR Tax 1087.48 … 9.75% x 11153.62
DMV Fee 722.00
CA Tire Fee 8.75
TOTAL FEES 13300.00
Rebates 10500.00
DAS 2800.00

Bottom line: you owe 2800 at signing followed by 23 monthly payments of 328.15 each.

Not a fan of online calculators but here is the LH Calc

??? Let me know.

Ccap is DOA on a lease for anything that qualifies for 30D of the IRA.

I have no idea what that means. Please explain. From what you’re telling me, I’m guessing that CCAP isn’t used in this case.

Actually should have said 45W of the IRA, although qualifing for 30D also holds true.

Ccap only gives half of their ev tax credit on to the consumer as an incentive on vehicles that qualify for a lessor tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act. As such, their leases are significantly more expensive. They don’t get used any more on any phev/ev CDJR lease.

If you did use ccap on this vehicle, their acq fee is $795, not $595.

Neither ccap nor sfs has a fixed acq fee. Theyre model/trim/term dependent.

These incentives are incorrect.

Theres a $7500 ev incentive, $2000 affiliate/friends and family, and $1500 TDM.

The 24 gets an extra $3k incentive on top of that and potentially another $2k for conquest if you qualify.

Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense.

Why does the LF Calc show 595 acq fee for Jeep? I just assumed it applied to CCAP.

It is $595 for some jeeps. My guess is it’s a default value that’s manually set in the calc on the back end. I don’t know if the database ratefindr pulls from has somewhere to pull the different rates from.

I found a 2024 Wagoneer S Launch Edition with original MSRP of $73,590, and the dealer is nearly matching the Limited model in my original post:

$13,500 in rebates with TrueCar $1k, an additional $2,000 conquest, and the same $9,500 from the 2025 Limited. Aside from only 11% off MSRP, this deal looks fairly good. Any thoughts?
$2,000 down and $308+ tax for 24/7.5k

$1500 jeep tdm code is better to use than $1000 truecar

Does the model your shopping for matter? I’ve tried multiple times building a Wagoneer S on Jeep.com without any pop up other than an email subscription that never sent anything to me.

Need to be looking at a wagoneer to get the wagoneer one.

Try after 12pm EST on different browsers.

Try clearing your browser history and as soon as you get an email subscription pop up clear it again. That’s been working for me lately.

Edit: I just tried and it popped up on my first try. Click on “build yours now” and then the Wagoneer S . Then just randomly scroll up and down and you should get it.

Thank you, all. Icognito in chrome triggered it and I got the email.

My magic number when playing with the calculator on a 2024 Launch Edition is $250+ tax, with only $2,000 down. It requires the dealer to discount around 15% before rebates, still trying to find one willing and this extra $500 helps.

Sharing a few data points today re: my attempt on a 2024 Wagoneer S Launch Edition. Location was San Diego County, CA.

Acq fee was indeed $995, not $595. Model specific, as mentioned here. And to get the best rebates, leases go through Stellantis Financial, not CCAP.

On a 24/7.5 lease, Dealer was adamant the lowest possible MF was 0.00063 (1.5%) and not Ratefindr’s listed buy rate of 0.00021 (0.5%). Again this is in San Diego, CA. And on a 2024 Launch Edition.

Lastly, the dealer had no information on the national affiliate rewards rebate of $2000? I’ve used affiliate codes before just to conveniently lob all the possible rebates at the negotiation. I asked about my affiliate code that I provided and got a confusing explanation. But ultimately, the rebates totaled $14,500 in my case (EV, jeep jumbo/bonus cash, $1500 TDM, $2000 conquest, $500 First Responder).

We made it to 10% off pre-incentives but I would still had to have pried off their dealer add-ons and be proven wrong on the money factor discrepancy. The sales manager at this dealership was very fun and easy to talk with. Given that the exterior colors we came to browse were offsite unavailable today anyways, we left on polite terms and I’ll share what comes of our final offers.
