2025 Honda Prologue

Talking to a dealer. They’ll include the $19,000 in discounts. When I asked them to give me 13% off msrp they said “Honda would not allow it”. The last number they said was about $330 with 0 down. I had it at about $170 with 0 down. My calculator includes tax and dealer fees. Does Honda really not allow it, or will they just not play ball?

Also if it’s a 36 month lease on a 2025 does it go out of warranty mid lease?

Also I know $170 is bold, I am shooting for $200 with first month due at signing

warranty starts when a vehicle is sold/leased for the first time, not off model year….

I don’t know if Honda will allow it or not, but is your target deal based on data you’ve gathered here and/or from other sites?

From the calculator. Just rebates and MF/RV. Asked for a 13% discount. They granted the 19K discount. Only had like 7.5% off. Also had a few add ons that were around $1000 extra I told them I was shooting for under $200, they said literally not possible, like Honda wouldn’t fund it

Won’t fund if your adj cap is lower than RV.

Is a 13% pre-incentive/pre-rebate discount realistic, based on recent deals you’ve seen?

It will be hard but not impossible to get 10%off before incentives. Good luck OP.

Based on current info HFS program is valid until end of April except for 2025 MY Prologue that ends end of March. This might be the last month when the lease will be supported for it. This is my guessing :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::grin::grimacing:

Reach out with your offer to all dealers in 200 miles radius with 2025 in stock. End of the month should be a good time to score nice deal.

RV is $20,727. I don’t know what the CAP is, or how to find it. Total cost of lease is $6720, MSRP is about $49,000

I’ll shoot for 10%. I thought I saw someone hit 12.5 on a 2026 yesterday. Figured 13 was possible

You can always try…

I mean, 2025 cars are getting old! Still I feel like this specific one is gonna stall around 290, which is a good deal and all, but ever since I got my $71 a month Hornet I’ve become addicted to the hunt

also just for the sake of conversation, why does putting $1000 down only save me $8 a month?

What do the numbers look like when you run them in the calc here or in your spreadsheet?

I wouldn’t bother until determining a target deal supported by comp deals. If the dealer being offered puts the cap cost below the rv and it won’t fund, all you’re doing by spamming out that offer is burning all your bridges.

Hi there, I see you tagged FL and I think the other post you are referring to was in Texas for about 12.1% pre-incentive discount. Did you ask for a break down of the 19000 in “incentives”, since there can only be about $16500 total that I am aware of, and what Texas poster got. It seems they are conflating rebate and dealer discounts

Keep in mind, dealer fee in FL is at minimum $995, more in the $1295-1500 range. There is $8000 dealer cash, $5000 captive lease, and $2000 conquest. Without conquest, you have $13000 in incentives already. The Texas poster also had I believe, recent grad and military which is another $500 a pop, and had some sort of $500 credit in lieu of a home charger, plus they did a one pay which knocked off about $40 a month effective. I believe the other poster had some sort of Texas tax credits as well.

I am in S FL and was doing some research into these, $170, even $200 is NOT possible down here. $300 a month would be a steal, $330 with true nothing due at signing and only 35 payments remaining is pretty good, you might be able to push to about $315 on the last day of the month.

On a 36/12 these are the numbers for EX, Touring, and Elite in that order for our region.
.00074 MF
44%, 44%, 43% residual

here’s my shot at a calculator reflecting a FL deal, if you do a one pay you are around 280-285 if you can even find a dealer willing to do a one pay down here

On 2025 its $19000 rebates. A $14000 and a $5000. Never shared a calc before so forgive me if that don’t work.

Do not know your exact location but there are almost no 2025 MY units in FL in 300 miles radius from Miami.

You may need to go out of state for a good deal. I would shoot for Alabama or GA

Ahh you are right, sorry I missed the 2025 part. I am shocked that Honda even has lease support on them but I do get they NEED to move them off their lots. 19000 in incentives is crazy, I am verifying if there is also conquest or loyalty lol. There are two 2025 units within 300 miles of west Palm Beach according to cars.com, I’m assuming you are looking at either of those.

But nothing in EX trim.
