2025 Honda Prologue Touring

, ,

There is a dealer that is offering a a $129/mo 24 mos, 10k mile/year lease on the Prologue Touring. We’re needing an inexpensive second car, and this is a great price. I’ve attached the details of the lease. Is there any red flags? It seems like there’s a lot of capital cost reductions, and due at signing. I’ve pasted it below. Any suggestions or advice will be welcome.

Thank you in advance!

*Valid on All 2025 Honda Prologue Touring AWD. $129 per mo. for 24 months. Lease with $4,999 due at signing; includes a $595 acquisition fee. No Security deposit required. Offer includes $7,500 Clean Vehicle Lease credit and $5,500 Captive Lease Cash, $3,500 HFS Lease Loyalty/Conquest. All incentives go towards either the cap cost reduction or the down payment. Subject to credit approval. 24 monthly payments required. Not all lessees will qualify for lowest payment through participating lender, American Honda Finance. Residency restrictions apply. Lessee responsible for maintenance, excessive wear/tear, and mileage over 10,000 miles per year at $0.15/mile. Option to purchase at lease end. Excludes state and local taxes, tags, registration and title, insurance, and dealer charges. A negotiable dealer documentary service fee of up to $200 may be added to the sale price or capitalized cost.

If it’s a dealer offer with a huge disclaimer, assume it’s not great.

Look in Marketplace to see if any CA brokers will ship up to WA, and see what the prices are in that market.

Look in signed deals to see recent posts, especially local ones, since the discounts can vary by region.

Edit: keep in mind registration will be $700+, or $900+ if you live in one of the counties with RTA. Might be some sticker shock if you’ve never had an EV before.

This comes out to like $340 a month…horrible price. You should be able to get this in the $225 range probably, prior to whatever your sales tax rate is and only pay 1st payment at signing.
