How much per month is it to lease a Dodge EV now? $999 monthly instead of $99?
I have put 1600 miles or so on my R/T that I got in September.
this is BY FAR the buggiest vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve already counted at least ten issues with the software. Your experience is on the bad side but not super unusual; the car is half baked. I don’t regret it for $200/month but even though mine is a 2025 it feels like a beta build.
I’ve only had it one refuse to turn on and, thankfully, that resolved itself after a few minutes.

No, look: as your only car it can’t be risked. For example I had to drive someone three hours to an airport a week ago. I didn’t take this car because I simply do not trust it 100%. I did take it when I picked them up because I knew that even if it failed me they wouldn’t miss a flight, but for a drop off I won’t use it.
Quite literally the thing is so Incomplete a ton of people —including me—get regularly locked out of the trunk; the button doesn’t work to open it. That is certainly not the only problem. Not even close. I am in a northern state and I’ve discovered that now when the weather gets at all chilly and the battery isn’t basically full the power shot won’t engage.
The resale on these is absolute trash. My sympathy to anybody who bought a new scat pack and now, with 500 miles, it’s only worth $40k as a trade-in.
Have you ever heard the term “perfect is the enemy of good”. Or “Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered”. You had a scat pack for sub $200/month, which is objectively a spectacular deal for September/25.I don’t think you ever wanted one, and to be frank, you wasted an awful lot of salespeople’s time as well.
I was looking for a unicorn, not a spectacular deal. I passed multiple deals off to other members 
seems like a win all around.

Literally get calls at least once a week. Just had another this evening. My man, I don’t think I’d take a charger now if it were nearly free. You decided to hold the bag vs accepting my offer back then. Times change so GL.

I had to wait for the deal to fund and then for shipping, so it is only been in my possession about a month. I just got a bill for property tax, so I should have permanent plates any day now.
Hornet has been fine, but we have only had it out a couple of times. Should probably force driving it some more to avoid 12V issues.
Cheap tire shine hasn’t even worn off yet

No luck jumping it from under the hood? The few times it pulled any funny business with me that always worked.
I think that’s just the Axe body spray residue of the tech that made sure the 12v battery was charged.

You’re about to pay $1.00 per mile driven on a car that cost you like $100 a month.
No dice, I tried and the tow guy did as well. 12V deader than dead, not enough juice to start it.
Because not driving them enough? We have some leases ending and a new driver starting, so will be putting a lot more miles on during the second half of the terms. Even though they were cheap, I didn’t pick them up just to sit around. I do have a plan.
Don’t forget several hundred in insurance. Insurance is more than the lease, that’s why I didn’t bite.
