The last dealer I tried working with on a Hornet deal (car was having a birthday) basically tried to tell me how much money they were losing. They’re still sitting with the car.
What I’ve learned after doing this for a few years is that the dealers that tend to have leftover 2024s are also the stingiest with discounts, the dealers that sold their cars are the ones more interested in being aggressive moving inventory.
Weren’t you working with a dealership that sent you that picture of the 10 day offers? Isn’t there usually a program code that goes along with something like that so the dealerships can reference it?
Does anyone know specifically what qualifies for a conquest rebate for Dodge? My current non Dodge lease is up Sunday but we also have another non Dodge car in the household that my wife’s name is on would that qualify if I can’t make a deal by tomorrow?
There is a grace period after leases end, as well. Take a picture or photocopy of your title/registration/paperwork.
Also, someone may want to check me on this but many leasing companies allow you to continue your lease for up to six months at the current payment. Something to think about if you’re currently in a good deal with something you like.
It could take that long to figure out WTH is going on with Charger programs with the upside being they may be reliable by then.
I’d pay anything under $400 at this point and call it a win. I’m ready to find a tall building after talking to so many dealers who have no clue how to figure a lease.
The dealer I’m working with on the west coast was transparent with every number or at least I hope and 5K BEV coupons, regular 7500 EV and the 3K demo unit money was all they were showing with a decent 10% off and I had the 1k email but with all that it’s still almost 400.
I reached out to the dealer on Wednesday to proceed and he said I’ll get back to you tomorrow when the programs will be better. Oh well that didn’t go as planned… I asked him what happened and he replied some dealer gibberish
