2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT/2FL - $8,100 OnePay or $337pm for 24/12

Cleaned up version:

Found this also by browsing the Chevy site, just like I found the Blazer last month (described here)

$6k discount wasn’t the easiest to find. Only two dealerships played along for that discount and worked remotely to finalize numbers. Many others didn’t even bother to return the inquiry request. Plenty of others didn’t want to do numbers remotely, and many didn’t have a discount as aggressive as this. But essentially, the Blazer I got last month paid for itself on the Silverado with a $3,250 loyalty rebate. Essentially buy one, get one free deal:rofl::rofl::rofl:

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT/2FL

Term 24/12

MSRP $55,190

Discount: $6,000

Rebates: $5,500 (Lease cash $1,000, loyalty $3,250 because of Blazer signed last month, $1,250 Costco Executive)

Also, used $500 in GM credit card points from getting a Blazer last month on the GM credit card.

CT state tax rate of 7.75% on cars over $50k MSRP

Residual 73% for this trim because it is a loaner, and I was told Chevy deducts residual for miles.

The final amount for OnePay was $8,130.

The dealership let me put the whole thing on a credit card, so I should get $800 in points if my math is correct under the card terms.

That would be used towards getting accessories like a tonneau cover and a bike rack over

Congrats.

Time to hack ICE . LOL

Please clarify. That $500 technically is lowering your one pay? Is this correct? iirc you can use points only for some specific GM products.

Well done… your loyalty is what made this thing hackable!

Points can be used towards purchase or lease of a new car. So yep, earned them on purchase of Blazer last month and used them to reduce OnePay on Silverado by that $500

Great deal on an ICE truck!

Did you check SUVs like the Traverse by any chance?

SUVs seem to lease horrible this month. Chevy called October a truck month and threw some rebates at it through loyalty and Costco.

Nice hack!

Hopefully they’ll have a 3 row mania before April…

We’re expecting twins so a 7-seater will come handy!

Even a minivan mania will be welcomed at this point… :joy:

Um, I assume you already have more than 0 kids😀 cause we have 3 and and it works with just two rows:)

Yeah. Blazer that I got last month was $4,300 OnePay and rebate I got on Silverado because of it was $3,500. Almost paid for itself right there and then

Yeah, going from 1 to 3…

Main “problem” will be accommodating 2 rear facing bulky car seats + double stroller + whatever babies need x2…

Wouldn’t mind having the option of a large trunk or a 3rd row in case it’s needed.

ah, yes. At that stage we had QX60 and even thought we didn’t use 3rd row but size of the trunk help plus that was during covid and we only needed 1 car.

On the other hand may be Diono car seats can help for regular SUV.

Or get Silverado - it’s wide enough to fit 3 bulky car seats🤣 just need to have a cover the the bed if stroller is there

You people always fuck everything before I’m able to secure a unit.

Which engine is this one? I’m looking for a Duramax

The 2FL has the 2.7L 4 cylinder “Turbomax” so— Yeah.

That’s a loaded statement. Care to elaborate?

Discovery of gold with a certain months mf, RV, residual, targets a gold rush when word gets out. Since Thursday, every unit with a reasonable discount I’ve had pulled up on cg that has been in inventory for more than 120 days with no interest suddenly have a bunch of saves.

joke was more in jest but I realize a lot of people on here are extremely sensitive. Waiting for @IAC to report me bc I said a bad word that hurt his feelings

I’m curious, how much is your first year of personal property tax in CT each for both the Blazer and Silverado?

Well, I thought it was a jest but without any emoji it wasn’t very clear so I wanted to clarify it it was real gripe or just a jest.

Also, a lot of Silverados with decent discount around me on Chevy site are fakes in terms that dealerships add all possible purchase rebate to the price thus making it appear cheap while in reality real dealership discounts around 5% max. And even at that discount many dealers don’t call back ok inquiry.

So for the last few years most of my cars were in $50k MSRP range. In CT every town sets its own tax rate on cars. In Stamford on average tax was about $750 a year on cars of that price range.

Plus Silverado has higher priced registration fee in CT as being a truck for $400 vs SUV for like $120 or so. That registration is for 2 years on new cars up to 4 years old. Then yearly
