I’m looking for $1500 + $625 lease transfer fee. The car has a little over 1 year left before maturity and a little over 10,000 miles left, essentially half the remaining term. The car was a one-pay lease, so there is no monthly.
I currently have a prospective transferee. However, they do have some concerns regarding the GM transfer timeframe as they need the car immediately. I am hoping to reach a conclusion in the next two days. EDIT: Purchaser backed out.
In the mean time I will post interior and exterior pictures to the main post by tomorrow morning.
I’ve received several inquiries and want to clear up a couple of things.
1.) The lease has to be transferred through GM financial and we are at their whims regarding time frame, despite being expeditious.
2.) The car must be used for personal use since it was leased, originally, for personal use.
3.) New leasee needs to be in California
The car still has not been drive since the original post. It is being garaged until a lease transfer is completed.
I hope to agree to terms by the end of this weekend and move forward as quickly as possible.
These transfers take at least 3 weeks to process, give or take a few days if you’re lucky. Key is for both parties to respond immediately when the transfer team requests docs, etc.
