2025 BMW X5 Lease Proposal

Hello!

I currently have a X3 lease that is up in October. The dealer I got the car from is offering to get me out of my lease now with no penalties. I would like to lease a new X5. I was told there are decent rebates for the hybrid - $4,000.
I found a few X5s I am interested in. I was already priced for one (hybrid) and would like to know opinions. MF is 00.22. I know X5s lease is not the greatest, but I would like to know if people are negotiating 5-10% off MSRP WITHOUT a broker? There is another X5 at a different dealership that I like but haven’t begun negotiating. This is not a hybrid. I would like MSRP discount on this one if I will not be getting rebates. I am attaching the proposal that was sent to me today. I will be going to get additional numbers tomorrow that I will include in this thread.

Thanks for reading and any tips/advice

Looks bad. Wait until October.

Hello, look to follow the 1% rule, it’s a tried and true method here. Many hackr veterans swear by it.

Says who? Depends on the car for sure. For example no one here agrees an EQS is worth $1300 per month

Could you please elaborate?

Elaborate please?

Like you said why take this deal if brokers are offering 10% off.

They are probably rolling your 6 left over payments into this.

$1500 for a gas guzzling luxury SUV is wild

Unless BMW is offering a pull ahead then there is no free lunch. Ignore the dealer till October.

If for some chance you have equity sell it separately and negotiate a new deal.

There is either equity to extract or the other side of the deal is paying for it. Get your payoff and see what the car buying services will put on it.

Most true veteran hackrs do not go by this rule at all

Does the X3 have any equity?

If no, consider the possibility that they’re misleading you in order to get you into a new car.

If yes, this offer is more preposterous.

“Negotiating” is a waste of time. Establish what you’re willing to pay (requires more research, obviously), and make an offer, and move on if you get a no.

You forgot to add the /s for sarcasm.
