First time seeing one of these. I forgot BMW still has them in the line up.
Much better than the new X3 IMO if you don’t need the space

Agreed and the 2.8 drives much nicer than the 3.5 (both 4cyl) imo, and this has DAP. Solid deal - GLWT!
@nyclife Out of curiosity, how does BMW handle the sales tax difference if the car is transferred to CA? Since NY, u pay sales tax upfront and CA is levied monthly…..does BMW just tack on the CA tax on this payment and call it a day OR do they do roll back the payment for the sales tax already paid up on the car, and THEN refactor new payment?
It’s whatever the payment is plus your tax rate, monthly. So, this is $519 per month + tax.

That would require CA to somehow recognize the taxes paid in NY and then somehow credit that against a monthly receipt taxation method…

This is all correct, unfortunately, it’s the definition of double taxation

considering that both states love taxes like a fat kid loves cake… It’ll be a cold day in hell before they care about fixing the double taxation

Yeah - that’s why i was curious. On purchases, i know you can apply for credit for sales tax you already paid in New York to reduce the California use tax obligation but wasn’t sure how leases would work.
