Missed out on the April deals. New iX in Texas.
Thats a big number for a moderately equipped IX, even with 15K miles – at that monthly I would have much rather seen you get into a refreshed 2026, but what’s done is done! Enjoy…
April deals weren’t much better.
Wasn’t it just a MF bump of 19 points in May that was the only difference from April? You could offset that easily with MSDs (3 in April vs 7 in May) so really you didn’t miss out on much in regards to April vs May. They did however mark up the MF in your deal from 0.00045 to 0.00080. Not a good deal overall but it could be worse I suppose
Residual also got 1 point worse.
Hey thanks for the feedback. Definitely not the absolute best deal compared to some of what I’ve seen around here. I checked the private transfers but mileage was all too low and I haven’t transferred from out of state before so wanted to try and find something more local.
Reached out to quite a few dealers for loaners and new alike and they were all coming in quite a bit higher. Checked a broker posting for my state here and looking over what they had posted and could do I was right around the same cost like for like for total contract. Theirs was lower monthly but more up front. I wanted as little down as possible.
So looking over the calculator and based on my rent charge it looks like it was actually .00045. Doesn’t change the monthly. I had the tax amount off along with the MF which brought out the same monthly but different ways to get there.
I think residuals changed a bit and there may have been some dealer discretion on additional discounts. Texas taxes make leases not quite as favorable as other states from what I’ve seen. If someone has a bullet proof way of getting tax credits let me know because I’d love to use it in the future.
