2025 BMW I4 edrive40 - Lease offer Texas

Good afternoon all,

I’m grateful I’ve come across this website. I have been looking for a BMW I4 edrive40, and have been debating between used and new. This afternoon I came across a BMW dealer here in Texas and have gone back and forth. I was presented this offer on an I4 edrive 40 with the following packages:

M Sport Package
Shadowline Package
Premium Package
Parking Assistance Package
Driving Assistance Package

MSRP - $68,250
Dealer Savings - $9,875
Rebate - $8,500
Price - $49,875
Tint - $499
Vehicle Selling Price - $50,374
Taxes - $3,162
+Additional Fees

Balance Due - $54,041.29

In terms of lease options I was presented with:

2,000 down - $661
3,500 down - $615
5,000 down - $570

From my reading, I want to put down as little as possible, ideally 0. Do these monthly payments seem high or in the ball park given the price of the car? I’m not sure what the money factor is, or what the residual is, I have not heard back yet.

Thank you for your time, I really appreciate any insight you all are able to provide.

MF has to be marked up for the monthly to be that high

If that offer is legit, why haven’t you signed yet?

ask the MF and residual. make sure they arent marking up the MF like the other dude said. It’ll take some searching but brokers here post the calculator with a MF you can compare it to. You can also call another dealership and grill them on what the best MF is.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I wasn’t sure if the monthly payment is considered high when you factor in the 2k down minimum.

I haven’t leased a vehicle before, so I’m not sure how much a money factor that its currently unknown in this deal impacts the price.

I’m considering leasing and then buying, but I live in Texas and as I understand it I have to pay sales tax on the full price at lease, and the residual at buy out.

Thank you for your insight, I sent an email for follow up on the MF.

It’s marked up but they’re definitely making up for it in the discount.

Take the deal.

Are you being serious? You can beat $700 per month with $0 due can you not?

‘Fraid not, don’t really bring in cheap builds with our stores and the i4 programs got real ugly real fast this month.

I do know of a seriously loaded 35e up for transfer with 2,350 miles per month allowance left on it (14 mos and 33,000 miles left)

Bummer cause I just started looking into this car again. If $700 is for a low spec eDrive at $68k, I better not even consider anything else.
