New here trying to get advice on a lease. Limited details on dealer site but basically $277 a month (taxes not included) with $1777 down 36 months and 7500 miles on the ADX A-spec. When I get to the dealer they tell me thar certain things were not included like money factor and taxes. They gave me break down and the advertised deal is now 2K down $390 a month with taxes money factor and everything else. Doesn’t feel right but what do I know? I’m not sure of rules here if i can post the ad or name the dealer. Funny thing is when I revisited the dealer website it shows an even better deal at $249 a month.
Dealer ads are virtually always garbage deals, as the offers bury thousands of dollars in taxes and fees in the fine print. The job of an ad is to get you to inquire, they’ll worry about selling you a car after you reach out.
Constructively, at this juncture the best thing to do is to decide if you want to figure out how leases work and how to determine exactly how much you should pay, or hire a reputable broker. Chances of getting hosed if you choose a third option are extreme.
