2024 XC60 Recharge Ultimate Questions AZ (Warning: NEWBIE)

Brand new to leasing world—looking a lease before year-end. My questions are based on mostly hypotheticals, so bear with me. I’m going to present what I envision being the worst care scenario, so I have a better understanding what’s potentially in front of me.

Please see enclosed calculator.

  1. This vehicle is a demo/loaner and I do not know the mileage at this point (guessed at 1,500).
  2. I’ve entered the MSRP as a baseline. From your experiences, what would you be offering as a sales price?
  3. Trade-in value is a conservative amount.
  4. It would be a 36/12K term.

Any guidance, criticisms, recommended purchase price is highly appreciated. Been a member for about a week and this forum is a great resource. Thanks in advance…

The 24 month term is substantially better on the T8s. Also, you’d have to check Ratefindr in your region, but in my area 2025s have much improved programs over 2024.

Don’t trade in your current car. Sell it separately to CarMax, CarGurus, etc. Always best to keep it as a separate transaction.

I’m sending you a leasing basics guide I put together. It will help you put together an email to send to dealerships.

Finally, spend the $15 and become super supporter here. It will help you tremendously with the calculator.

I’m in AZ too considering the same car! @BigLebowski Would you please send me the same dealer email you mentioned above? Much appreciated.

Forget about loaners for the moment. What’s your target on a brand new one? Refer to Marketplace and Signed Deals & Tips

Why conservative trade value? Don’t trade unless they match the best offer from the usual suspects.
