Flew from Milwaukee to Houston last Friday for pick up. Taxes looked high and accurate pmt should be $10-15 less but I wasn’t going to complain too much. Happy with the deal and daughter is happy with the jeep. I asked twice about replicating and received no answer so I believe this was a one-off deal.

Unless they confirm they want a bunch of people bombarding them with inquires - I would rather not disclose. Like I said - I did reach out for two friends about replicating and got no response.

A reputable dealer will refund an overpayment of taxes, as the state can’t collect more than is actually due and the dealer cannot just turn the excess into more profit. This could take some time, but I would certainly follow-up if you really think the dealer’s runner service is wrong. In some cases it took over a year, but I’ve gotten refunds before.

Yes - I was thinking the over collection will right itself in the end. Even if it doesn’t - I was good with deal as-is but it should technically get better.
Update - deal finally got funded and received my first stmt this week. Had Jeep since May 30. Resigned deal a week ago. Finance guy was let go. On my 3rd set of temp plates. All good lol.
