The manufacturer lease offer for this vehicle doesn’t seem bad. Especially in Michigan. I am sure someone in So-Cal can beat it of course but here in this state dealers do not discount Subarus. Not even sure I can replicate this deal. What do you all think? Maybe a good starting point to negotiate at least?
Ad deals are bad but it seems like a good target to beat. Maybe I could get closer to my target on a 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness since the 2025s are starting to arrive.
You all have to see this terrible advertising deal from the manufacturer. Look at how the GM employee discount deal on the right is almost the exact same as the one on the left. Same terms. One has more money down and less payment and vice versa. I found it comical that they are basically the same deal and just shows how dumb these ads can be.
I have heard that these are very hackable this month. I need to drive one to see if it peaks my interest first.
I’m not sure if there’s much utility in starting new threads to repeatedly ask for feedback on manufacturer ads, which are always relatively poor, so I’ve consolidated your threads.
I was shocked to see the Envista ads side by side like that but basically the same lease. There was no discount for GMS price.
I was wrong about it being hackable. The damn MF is 8-11% depending on trim and no Costco! Cheap car but not cheap payment. Dumb.
What percent off MSRP did it take off the price? Trying to decide if it’s even worth it at this point in time. With end of year coming and 2024s left I think I can get a deal without it. This would be my third Subaru and SOA emailed me a loyalty coupon on request.
MSRP was $32k and discount was $2,100. That was in November 2023. I live in Houston and even though there are currently a handful of 24’s on local dealer lots, the 25’s are discounted at least $2k.
6.5% off msrp isn’t too bad but I don’t think I need to pay ASPCA $500 right away to get that kind of discount. And even if I do it won’t get me a discount until 30 days after.
The point I was making is due to current oversupply, at least in the Houston area, anyone can get that discount without making the ASPCA contribution. When I bought mine a year ago, MSRP was the norm, so it was a huge savings back then.
This is the deal I got from the dealership except for they gave me a payment of $475 with $1k down. I said how do you get that with the subvented MF of .00105 and they said they will not use that rate. Then I said I guess I don’t care what rate you use I just need $450 per month with $0 down. They discounted it a little more for me but seriously why won’t they use the rate that Subaru is offering?
Sorry typo here. And the calculator is wrong. Right now the deal is $2k down and $445. The MSRP is right and the sales price is right. Why is the payment so high? Why aren’t they using the subvented MF?
