Judging by the maturity date, last day to get someone inline to transfer was 4/16. PFS prep once mentioned you can slide with the cutoff but you pretty much need to have someone ready today.
Asking for a friend …so if you plan to transfer a PFS lease, you call PFS and let them know, and then they tell you to sit tight and they will get back to you within the next 60-days??? Can someone please walk me through this? I’ve done several lease transfers with BMWFS and its easy-peasy. It just may not be worth it with PFS and their glacial pace and limit to two potential buyers.
The 60 days was more anecdotal than their formal policy.
It seems like PFS takes their sweet time doing the underwrite of the new person assuming the lease. Then they take their sweet time doing the transfer. And it also looks like they’re super strict and require the new lessee to have a better credit profile (FICO, FCF, and track record) than the original lessee.
There are bunches of memes complaining about this and people on this site who struggle to transfer PFS leases. They also cap people at 2 attempts. Unlike @schyulerw who cycled like 12 people and collected mad monies before he finally just gave up and got rid of his i7 through other means.
