2024 Lyriq Tech - Is This A Good Lease?

I live in Mississippi and would like to take advantage of the great Cadillac Lyriq deals. I’m eligible for the $3000 conquest cash and have $600 in GM dollars. Please let me know if this is a good deal. It requires shipping from out of state, which may be up to $1k. Thank you.

WTF is $300 for a security guard?

I’m waiting to hear back. I assume is something useless like window etching, but I’ll know by tomorrow.

Aside from that, what do you think?

They took off Security Guard but wouldn’t lower the Admin fees.

Thoughts?

If you qualify, there should also be a $7500 federal rebate which would be added to the RV of the vehicle.

They quoted me a residual of 80% so it should be there.

I would verify because there are 7 trim codes and each have RWD and AWD RV values that range from 71% to 83%.

For example, the Tech with Trim code “1SA” has and 80% RV for the RWD and 83% for the AWD version.

There is nothing to qualify for.

The rv is bumped up by GM’s tax credit they get. There is no non-bumped up RV option. Has nothing to do with the lessee.

As far as I know, GM handles the $7500 credit with a residual bump. I don’t think there is any scenario where it’s given as some sort of “lease cash” or whatever term you want to use.

Is this pre tax?

I told them to include Tax but it appears to be pre-Tax. I’m waiting for confirmation.

Yes, includes all taxes.

I plan to sign the contract within the next 5 days so if anyone has additional input, please chime in. I was hoping for more feedback from the community to avoid buyer’s remorse

Have a good night.

The discount and payment look good overall for a Lyriq but have you compared the trims and decided the Tech trim is right for you? From what I’ve heard from others on the forum the Tech trim is somewhat low on options and comforts compared to the Luxury trims. Obviously payment would be higher on the higher trims but you could even cross shop the Blazer EV RS at that price to see how they compare. If your mind is set on this particular car the only other advice would be to consider doing a One Pay lease if you have the capital to lay out in advance, it should save a decent chunk of change.

Posting a calculator in the future would be better if you want more feedback. That said, if you get rid of the $300 garbage add-on and the monthly includes taxes, it’s not bad.

I don’t know how rebates have changed this month, but $400/mo and $0 DAS was the target for the $65k MSRP Lux 1 and Sport 1 trims back in May back when I signed mine (you can see my deal for reference in my post history).

I assume there’s fewer rebates now so ~$420/mo and $0 DAS seems reasonable for the low MSRP tech trim. However based on my experience with all the software issues not allowing for scheduled charging, the unusable wireless charging pad, and the nuisance of not having touch door handles to lock/unlock the car, I’d think real hard before getting a Lyriq.

I overlook it since I felt like I hacked every last dollar out of mine. I’d be a little less forgiving if I didn’t feel like I stole it.

Here’s my best attempt at the calculator. I had to adjust the residual from 83 AWD to 80 for this RWD model. Thank you.

I like the Blazer RS but this is for my wife and it has to be a luxury brand. We looked at the Lexus RZ 300e but they wouldn’t discount the car after incentives. We’re trying to keep the monthy payment to $450 OTD and not go over $450 DAS. MS has a 5% tax rate.

I got my mercedes EQB 300 (MSRP 61050) for $399/month including tax and $1322 DAS.

I called about 8 dealerships and it came down to 2 of them offering me their service loaners that had about 2k miles on it. Maybe wait it out towards the end of the month when they have to push numbers and make magic happen for you.

That’s not a bad idea. If the Costco incentive was still active that would have helped a lot in our situation. I’m keeping an eye on their website. GM has a $1k incentive but it doesn’t stack with the $3k conquest offer.

hey again - what trim lyriq was this deal for?
