I inquired about a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe base in California, but they won’t lease out of state. I verified they are offering $15k off before any incentives but only on this unit, and with the new $8100 in lease cash this month and the $7500 tax credit, it would be $61/month after taxes for me for 24/12k.
Is this something someone in California wants to try?
Did you actually confirm that payment with them? Or just the 15k discount? If the latter, I’d be willing to bet they either aren’t being truthful or adding every possible BS add-on. Hopefully I’m wrong and someone can make it work.
Just the discount. I verified it was before anything else, and looked up reviews to see if they were known for exactly what you are talking about. I would have gotten a full quote if they worked with out of state buyers. I just posted it in the hope someone else could take advantage of it. The payment was using rate finder with local incentives for 91711.
Just one, and he said they came back at $750/month, which is obviously insane. I didn’t pass it to anyone else. If they are going to play that game, I didn’t want to waste anyone else’s time.
I texted with the dealer a bit. They said the 15 off was a mistake and it’s really 4500 off. Came back at just under 800 a month with 0 down (after I gave them numbers for a 24/10 one pay). Needless to say I gave some thanks and that was that.
This is why the most popular approach on this site is to make out the door price offers.
The discount is just one of the many unknowns in the equation. They can easily say it actually includes rebates, mark up the money factor, or even say ‘oopsie, it was a system glitch’.
Once, I thought I found a great deal and called the manager directly. He confirmed the price, then added $6k in taxes, which was outrageous (I had calculated it to be around $1k). When I said that was impossible, he said he’s been doing leases for 10 years and never makes mistakes
The latest “awesome” deal comes courtesy of Berman CJDR. They have a 2024 Grand Cherokee 4xe Summit Reserve with almost $6000 miles. They offered me a $2000 discount and told me that “payments in the $900s are really good on an $85k vehicle.”
Once I was done laughing at him, I was told there was “over $18000 in savings total.” I explained that almost $16,000 of that were incentives I could get on a new 2024 with zero miles and the incentives were even higher on 2025 models.
