Defender or Ford Flex. Probably perform more like the latter.

I’m interested in the cargo space. Maybe it will take some pressure off Pallisade sales and level that out a touch.

I’m sure I’ll come around to it, but there’s something wrong with the back end that doesn’t sit right with me. Everything else is great to look at.

Looks pretty production-ready to me. It’s sort of living me vague Land Rover vibes?

So their unconventional approach to maximizing cargo space is to…make it wider and more square??

Think About It GIF by Identity

I think everyones cashing in on the Bronco/Defender Boxy fad.

Lexus with the GX (shamelessly use very similar side mirrors)
Now Kyundai with this.

These will age like the milk from Anchorman.

I really hope volvo doesnt do this again…

maybe they think it’ll be less likely to be stolen if its uglier?

The back definitely needs to go back to the drawing board.

Missed any mention of a PHEV powertrain.

To be fair, w/ the Germans making ā€œcoupeā€ sedans and SUVs, a brand stating that they are prioritizing practicality is kind of… refreshing.

The kia soul has entered the chat.

Funny how people hate on the box style but yet you see how popular Broncos, Wranglers, GWagons and even just trucks are (until Elon busts out the triangle trend).

Should call this the Santa Fender.

Ita not the boxy styling on this that bothers me as much as the awkward flat rear end

I like the interior. Exterior just not sure. Just something off about it.

The rear end of this looks like Frankenstein’s head and more automakers are making the same ugly mistake by attempting to increase space in the rear, looking at you too BMW XM.

The position of the tail lights is what really undoes the rear. Sure the Defender, Bronco, Wrangler, GWagen are boxy too, but there’s an awkwardness about the SF rear not present in the others. It’s like it was grafted on from another vehicle. Or was assembled with giant legos.
