I’ve been looking at the 2024 Hummer EVs available for lease near me and I’m ready to pull the trigger. However, it has been a struggle to negotiate with anyone over email or over the phone. I am in banking and work long hours, so I don’t take time off lightly, and I’m not going to go waste time because a salesman won’t provide numbers/wants to evaluate the trade/etc.
How do I secure the best deal? Do I spend a day going to all the different dealerships and trying to negotiate in person? What am I doing wrong?
If you’re strapped for time you should consider a broker. Otherwise, the answer is to do your research on what rebates you qualify for, how these leases work, what discount you need to get to the same payments you are seeing from deals on the forum, and then you can start negotiating. If you’re just taking a monthly payment you are seeing from another deal on this forum and shopping it around, you’re probably not going to get far.
Join the Hummer EV groups on Facebook. I regularly see dealers there posting their offers so it’s a good place to start negotiations (stores willing to play ball).
