Need help with lease.
So I plan to either buy or lease a hummer. MSRP is approx 120k. I would sell at the end of 36 months and have no interest in purchasing the vehicle after the lease.
If leasing I want zero down and everything lumped into the lease monthly payment…essentially leave the dealership not paying anything. This works best for me in terms of my tax deductions (just does).
Looking for 10k miles per year.
Southern Cali.
I’m trying to determine what the best monthly price I could get would be so I know how much to negotiate…with leases I have very minimal experience.
The program from Edmunds is asking for information I do not have…i.e. residual value.
I’m just looking to see what type of figures I should be getting if I’m getting a good deal and driving off with zero down and everything lumped into the lease payment (tags, DMV, tax).
You need to go to the Edmunds Forums for Hummer and ask them what the RV and MF is, not the other way around. Or become a super supporter and use Rate Findr to look up the numbers here.
Once you have that you can plug the numbers into the LH calc and see exactly what it will lease for.
If you are looking to get the best monthly price, you should wait 6 months or so for the initial demand to die down. Prices for pretty much all EVs have been tanking lately.
@littleviolette I looked in Rate Finder and don’t see Hummer in the list, I checked under all the GM brands and don’t see them. I looked at the lh_calculator_script.js and don’t see any reference there either. You would know where that needs to be added, if at all, but FYI.
I think GM has invoice on these at msrp. Sales seem pretty strong, many dealers are still selling way above msrp. Unless there’s some manufacturer rebates I can’t see discounts coming down that much. I don’t think they’re mass producing them.
I was considering getting one but the real world range isn’t close to stated and I take too many road trips. I’ve also read a lot of horror stories so far with people having them in the shop for months. Cold weather states should also research the real world range people are getting on these.
I’m sure he’s tax deducting it like most buyers. So figure 1k a month after deduction. It’s a pretty cool truck for a g. I wish they made it in hybrid though
