2024 GMC Acadia - Doesn't look like a good deal

,

Interested in leasing the 2024 GMC Acadia Denali. Getting below deal which doesn’t seem good so thought I’d consult here.

MSRP - $63,310
selling Price - $59,925
39mo/12k
Residual - 53%
MF 0.0039
Down payment - $3k
Monthly - $915.95

$1,076 a month to dirve an acadia??? Did you look at this correctly?

$42k burned after 39 months.

Without even knowing the trim level nor drivetrain, the rate is also marked up a good amount

It’s a new model but yikes

Does this have tax credits?

Not sure what a good deal for this specific car would be, but I don’t think there’s a way for this be a good lease candidate in general w/ a low RV, a very high MF (is that the buyrate MF???), and no rebates, regardless of the discount.

If you’re not wedded to a GMC, I’d look at other comparable cars (check the Marketplace).

It’s Denali FWD trim. Dealer is saying $915 a month which is also very high.

Well, good for trying the calc…but your selling price is different and you are using 4K for down instead of 3K…also make sure to not confuse down with due at signing.

Looks like you have looked at Edmunds and MF is being marked up or they are using a different bank for this lease.

No tax credits. MF is high and dealer insists that he’s not marking it up since its coming directly from GM.

Not wedded to GMC but this new Acadia is super nice so a consideration for us.

Yikes, thanks for catching that. Not sure how I made that copy paste error. it’s $4k down on selling price of $59,925. Due at signing is $4k which includes first payment and all taxes and fees. Sorry, newbie here.

So it isn’t really 4K down in the calc because some of that 4K is going towards fees, etc.

Your calculator still says $4K down, and you didn’t check the box for TX taxes…

As a former Acadia Denali owner, I encourage you to consider other options. This car is not worth anything close to what the dealer is asking.

As a heads up, typically the higher the trim level = a higher price and a lower rv, which automatically increases the price and makes it harder to consider it a deal. With a terrible mf there is no way to get this into a “good” deal category. If you want all the bells & whistles, go for it. You’ll see quite a few on here go for a “limited” type trim level as to get some bells while not going crazy.

It’s your money, you will find quite a few value shoppers on this forum.

yeah, there should be an incentivized rate in the low 5’s

You can get an Infiniti QX60 for less than that. Last time I checked they had sales tax credits also.

There are some vehicles that are better to lease and some that are better to buy.

And then there’s some that are neither.
