Is anyone familar with $1k Drive plus Mastercard rebate?
ok, well on a 2024, it is different, and the 20% discount makes more sense. And your incentives are correct. But the other numbers are off.
The RV should be 53%, and the MF should be 0.00003. So they are playing around with the numbers on you.
You should be at ~$273/mo including 6.25% tax, with zero drive-off, including the acq fee and doc fee. So you need to ask them to sharpen their pencil.
The dealer can’t manipulate the rv, so theyre likely using a different bank.
I would be very surprised to see any dealer take a true 20%, pre incentive haircut on any of these, regardless of model year. Anything over 10% should be good, maybe shoot for 13% if you have an Affiliate Code. It was two years ago but the most I was able to get was 12% off a GC and even then they did something odd with the sales tax to get there. I think they ate the tax to do it. These aren’t Maseratis with loads of hidden trunk cash that can make an absolutely insane pre incentive discount possible.
One dealer in MD offered me real 8.5% off before incentives/rebates, but a high doc fee equals a 6.5% dealer discount from the NY area dealer. Also, all fees and taxes make a huge difference for final payment. When someone posted $230/m plus tax in GA with first DAS , I calculated my NY taxes, and it ended up $100/m more.
Just my $0.02.
It’s definitely possible. I did it just a couple of weeks ago.
taxes and dealer fees are definitely a wildcard, the former is not under the dealer’s control. which is why you really can only compare pre-tax and dealer fee discounts.
IIRC the deal you were sharing was 15.29% off I believe, not 20% off. End of the month I could see 15% if someone really needed to move a car but 20% would be pretty crazy. There would have to be something really big attached to the sale of that car if they would take that kind of loss to get rid of it.
Agree, but often, for no reason people got excited to see just the monthly and asking to replicate the deals which will not be the same in most cases if they live in different state.
What are they going to do with it when lease support will end this month? MMR is brutal. They will loose 30% IMO. They know it.
On the side note there is one dealer in Northen NY who has 30 new 2023 Ioniq5. Still offering $10k discount. LOL
Have you confirmed that they are using Stellatis for this deal? They could be using a different lender, hence the RV issue. The dealer cannot manipulate the RV. It’s determined by the lender.
you’re right. I thought it was higher. In reality, with them waiving their dealer fee, it was ~17% of pre-incentive.
But to @Zenek 's point, they’re going to have to do something as lease support I imagine will run out either this month or next (I could be wrong).
When I looked this up it appeared you get the 1000 tdm after charging $7k in a year on the card. I don’t see the 2024 gc 4xe listed on the true ar or jeep site tdm. Is there any other way to get it ? Tread lightly?
ive heard dealers will accept the tdm even though it only says 2025 models
That would be spectacular. True! I’ve had a couple say they won’t take it.
