I’m currently leasing a 2021 GLB with a 4-year term and a 7,500-mile annual limit. My monthly payment is $560 including tax. As of last November, I’ve exceeded my mileage by 3,746 miles, with an overage charge of $0.25 per mile. My lease runs until June of this year. I’ve been a loyal Mercedes-Benz customer for the past 7 years, and the dealer is offering me a new lease deal. They’re willing to waive the last 5 payments.

Seems like a decent deal to me especially with 2 years of free charging.

Do you qualify for Loyalty? That means you have a MB lease ending by 3/31

The time wasted to access said “free” charging makes it worthless IMO

my MB lease will end by 5/31

Yes, I agree, there’s an Electrify America charging station just 0.3 miles away, but waiting 30 minutes isn’t ideal when I have solar power at home and can take advantage of lower night rates for EV charging.

0.3 miles, you should be able to observe when can you charge with 0 wait time.

Yeah, I heard from the dealership that I can get 30 minutes of free charging at a time, though I’m not sure how long I’d need to wait before starting a second session.

lol you have a lot to learn… unplug at 29 min and plug back in. Session restarted and still free.

 if it is that simple, i think i should be okay.

My EA free charging said it resets every 60 minutes.

You can cross 30 min, unplug, re-plug and still get another 30 free, at least IME, but YMMV

Then you should wait until you’re covered under pull-ahead + loyalty.

For eqb, as long as u start charging above 30%, 30 minutes on EA will be enough to get you to 75-80%.

Is this right? This is like base 250 prices

I got the vehicle yesterday. I will upload full details today, when i look at the price sheet, MSRP is 57k.

Good for trips, my parents had free EA charging for 3 years on their 22 ID.4 and they have taken multiple 2000+ mile road trips with it that would have otherwise cost them quite a lot in charging costs, I’m guessing somewhere in the $2-4K range. From Central Texas, three trips to the West Coast, one to Orlando and one to Las Vegas.

The longest of these was close to 6000 miles, they went all the way up the West Coast in 22 from LA to the tip of Washington with some deviations to avoid charging deserts. They almost always have gone to EA and have made significant deviations from the most direct routes in order to stay on the EA network. They’re retired, they have the time to do it.
