I reckon this turned out OK. Super nice dealer, delivered it via flatbed, all paperwork completed online. Not sure if the calculator is correct, basically I’m paying $1k total for 24 month, 7500 miles per year lease. Stellantis kicked back 1st offer saying net cap cost must exceed residual value by $500. Dealer structured to fund and is cutting a check back to me for around $1400. Not able to be replicated with this dealer, this was their last one.
Great deal…. Which incentives did you qualify for? Based on the $11,500 number you listed I guess you didn’t have Affiliate? Looks like Conquest, the $1,000 TDM, $7,500 credit and the $1,000 SFS Bonus Cash. For Anyone looking to replicate something like this my best guess is that they discounted the car just shy of 12%, used 5 BEV Coupons and threw the full $3,500 of loaner cash at it in order to get to those numbers.
The car was most likely punched as a loaner in order to get the $3,500 in loaner cash from Stellantis. The residual was reduced accordingly from 64% to 63.7% in order to account for those miles. I’m sure it was a lot more than 67.3 miles.
The contract lists the car as having 698 miles so I’m guessing it had $5k in BEV coupons and $3500 loaner cash. Probably had $2k in overaged inventory, as well which would account for $10.5k.
AL appears to have lease cash and conquest cash not available in my area.
It also helps the cost of license plates and taxes are way less than where I am. I’d be close to your payment if I was at the same rates as you.
I have to ask. Why did you only do 7500 miles? That’s not a lot and they hit you at $.50/mile over your allowance.
I may need to rent a mailbox in Alabama for leasing purposes.
I qualified for affiliate too, but it got kicked back from Stellantis 1st round due to net cap cost being under residual so guess the dealer felt they had to pull it when restructuring. At the end of the day, I’m not sure which incentives they used, but I qualified for TDM $1k, conquest $2k, ev credit $7500, lease bonus cash $1k, and affiliate $2k. Why they didn’t use all is a mystery to me, but at that point I wasn’t going to complain.
I’m not sure what qualifications it takes for a dealer to have access to BEV coupons, but if floor planning and moving a lot of EV’s is part of the formula, I’d say this dealer didn’t have any. This was quite the rare bird.
If so I passed on it like a week ago because winter tires for the funky front and rear tire sizes were $780/ea and that was for a very mediocre winter tire.
I’ll be surprised if the car has 7500 miles when it’s time to turn in. I originally offered a deal at 5k miles, and while the dealer was fine with it, stellantis kicked back and wouldn’t fund. Adding miles was one of the ways they got the deal to where we had agreed on total obligation but that the bank would fund.
Has track pack, doesn’t have red interior. And down here in the south, well at least me anyway, I don’t know what a winter tire is and I’ve sure never knowingly owned one.
