- Curious what i could have done better , planning to take a lease for Cadillac Lyriq
- Push for 0 sales tax?
- One problem i had was net cap was lower than residual and thus could not do one pay and had to do monthly.
- One pay was exact same price as monthly, is that correct? i though it would make a difference, is it possible finance manager calculated it wrong for one pay?
- Can the rebates be structured as down payment? would that have solved the one pay lease issue.

Updated the post, planning to take a Lyriq, much harder to get a good deal like this one, thus the ask for what could have been done better.
Amazing deal. The only thing would have been a deeper dealer discount as it was a loaner vehicle.

I asked this at another post, but wanted to know how do you initiate contact with a dealer? Do you send all the discounts and incentives that you want at once or do you go one at a time? Appreciate any feedback 
This is the first time I have done a lease and am a newbie to all this. But what I did was understand the different aspects like mf, rv, rebates, avg MSRP discounts etc and try to replicate a structure in the calculator here.
Then start reaching out to dealerships whose list price was 1-3k away from where I wanted to be. Talked to dealerships who were quite far where I wanted to be about what’s possible and try negotiating on certain things to understand how they pushback or agree and use this knowledge with first set.
Also I was in no hurry and was willing to back away, just tried to maintain a relationship via text.

Tldr: if you are too far away , go one at a time. Pretty close , go all in.
