I am living in New York and interested in leasing 2024 Cayenne. However, the leasing deals that I currently see have a money factor of 0.0035 (annualized to 8.4%).
I see an advertisement saying 0down + 1499monthly. However, the detailed payment schedule they sent me is much higher. Is it normal? How should I set a search target/expectation for a new Cayenne with an MSRP of ~ 100k? Does the 1% rule apply? Can I negotiate a downpayment to 0? In this case, is it really 0?
If you’re actually getting 11k off a new Cayenne at buy-rate money factor and no add-ons, that is a great deal.
That said, just because you got a good deal, doesn’t mean it will make for a good lease.
for this lease quote, i calculate the money factor 0.00489, which is more than 11% APR…
Did you say 1% rule? On a Porsche? LOL
Forget you ever heard of this BS. It never has and never will be an indicator of if something is a good deal or not.
Given it’s a Porsche, and not a PHEV and you’re getting 10% off…IMHO just buy it and finance (with a CU, not PFS), as opposed to lease
Edit: Something seems off with your RV, 39/7500 should be >59%…which trim are you looking at?
If you don’t care about new. You can get a better deal with a demo or CPO are around 1,000-1,250 sign and drive.
Check Tyson’s Corner VA
Have you checked the Marketplace ?
You are missing something because a dealer can’t mark it up more than .0008 and .0035 is the base.
But as @IAC_Scott said, if you are getting 11% off a new Cayenne then that’s an amazing deal. I am selling ex-loaners at 6% off and they sell within a few weeks of being posted online.
It seems like you’re getting 4% off here. You can do better than 4% off - for brand new on the lot I’d aim for ~8% off (you might find a one-off willing to go closer to 10% but there’s really ~10pts of margin in there to begin with).
What’s there? Cheap Cayennes? LOL
They never offer anything good.
I was in the car business for a long time - the best lease I’ve ever seen is my current Cayenne.
From Tysons?
No, I’ve gotten Porsches all over the country in the last couple years and they have great deals but I haven’t purchased there.
Hi, what would be a good deal on discount for a special order Cayenne S. I am shooting for 6 percent off MSRP. Your thoughts PLEASE. Thank you in advance.
They’re miserable to deal with.
I did 7% off on a special order '25 Cayenne S E Hybrid last year though that was after a bunch of back and forth with the dealer.
It’s a lot of bait and switch with them
