Im in texas and i got this from a local dealer. They dont currently have the Base Tech RWD. Is this a good deal? Thank you
The dealer discount seems reasonable. Verify the MF that they are using in the deal. The dealer add on stuff is way too much $$$. What is that? Window tint, door edge guard, and ?
If it’s already on the car they can’t just rip it off but it’s not worth $25xx. I’d give them no more than $500 for that add on stuff if it’s already on the vehicle. The dealer add stuff doesn’t residualize. So, you are paying for 100% of that over the life of the lease.
MF is 0.00371
MF is marked up. Base is 0.00270833 per RateFinder.
This is your current deal. I’m about $5/month off on the calc. I don’t know where my error is but it’s still close. The Dealer Adds, Doc Fee are “dealer fees” and “non tax fees” are in Gov’t fees
This would be the same deal with the dealer adds being reduced to $500 and base MF.
I don’t know if they’d go that deep. Your dealer discount is pretty healthy. So you may have to compromise and give them a marked up MF but not this much. Maybe try to meet them in the middle on the current MF and base MF as well as negotiate the dealer adds to to about $500.
The dealer discount and rebate are perfect. However, the interest rate and unnecessary accessories are the problem
The dealer discount is crap. They just added some bs add ons to make it look like a bigger number than it really is.
A “$5000” discount with $2500 in garbage add ons is just a $2500 discount.
Thank you so much
Thank you very much
Yea this is a classic way for stealership to make you think they are giving decent discount but recoup that on those BS dealer installed stuff
Its automatic red flag for me if the car has dealer installed accessories.
Thank you for your take on this.
It wouldnt be THAT bad if the stuff they added had some value, but the least bad thing they usually add is the crappiest tint they can get done that they mark way up. At that point, one would have to spend money to rip that crap off to put something decent on it.
Lol yea totally agree but then it is extra and not counted towards Residual value so you lose money both way
I think your calculation doesnt show the taxes. The bix for taxes is empty. Is that because the dealer added taxes to the final price?
So based on the response i got feom edmunds, i told the sales guy i will move forward if they. An find me something with MF 0.00271(Because that is what edmunds says it should be based on my zipcode), No add ons, and RV 78%. I’m waiting for a response.
My other question is that, a vehicle with such a high RV it probably wouldnt make sense to consider purchasing after lease ends, correct?
You’re getting a lender tax credit. The tax rate looks to be 1.25% instead of 6.25%(which is standard in TX). If you scroll down to the bottom of the calculator I put 1.25% sales tax into the deal. If you want to see that number as part of the DAS then click on the tab to pay sales tax upfront.
In reality it probably will not have a high resale value at the end of the lease. EV’s are depreciating at a VERY accelerated rate. You will probably just want to walk away from this vehicle at the end of the lease.
Can you share breakdown of $8500 rebate ? I am also in TX too but my dealer is saying i only qualify for $3000 conquest.
June is not August
Understand that june is not august. I requested for break down so I can confirm with dealer what rebates are still available.Dealers in my area at least are only disclosing rebates when i ask for them for specific ones. Some incentives could stay longer than that month, like my zip code currently has CCR on loaners valid until 1/25.
I also think some of the rebates are VIN specific on the Lyric
