2024 BMW XM Lease Numbers

,

Sweet, any idea on pricing on the costco ones. I guess i should sign up for a membership after all these years  .

We just clocked in 4k miles and Service told us the rears have entered the yellow zone (5/6) lol.

Nothing to be felt guilty about on that. In my case, it was Acura’s, Lexus and BMW all which got listed as a CPO or went on to auction.
For anyone buying a used car, doesn’t matter from mom n pop dealers or auction, the first thing you should inspect and replace should be the tires and brakes.

Thank you for checking Grizzly. We have the 23’s on ours. :grimacing: I just wish the 23’s could have a 20k mile warranty lol.

Why would them being used mean much? Especially higher tread / takeoffs. When you buy them from a reputable source, and not same shadeball down the street, they go through inspection and all. Plus your tire place shouldn’t install anything dangerous or harmful

Probably for the same reason @djrabbi , @dukez , @Alex1438 , and @JSmith don’t put our kids and family into the EQS. There’s value in avoiding the infinite amount of “I told you so, why did you put us into this POS? complain complain complain complain”. @Alex1438 can jeopardize himself to chase low payments, but he’s the only one to take on the risk. Probably has a 7 figure life insurance policy.

Used tires? Even if you cut/puncture a used tire on something that would have damaged a new tire, fugetaboutit. Your ass would be grass.

I’d never take a road trip with family. I only go 25 miles tops with my family in eqs. Either wife takes it to work or sitting at dealer lol

I put used tires on only if they are take offs. Other than that, let it be manufacture problem with used tires. I agree with you there

Im in Miami. No such place as a reputable Used car shop exists. Well for lease returns only yes there is one really good one. Trust me, used tires places here dont care about dangers and harms as long as the tire last 90 days, they are done.

Im not sure about other cities n states but im thinking they only offer 90 days warranty on used tires ?

I can’t rely on it enough to trust we won’t get stuck halfway to Vegas in a 120 degree desert.

I second these comments. I’ve only come across one used tire place that was decent and cared about their reputation. Even then I used to pick the tires out of what they had in stock depending on tread and condition. Most people took whatever was cheapest even though there was only a $10-20 difference.

Now I would never put used tires on unless the cars getting turned back in soon.

If you aren’t purchasing used tires on eBay, you’re missing out. You can get exact spec for a fraction of the price. I purchased four 8/32 pirellis for my EQS for less than $75/tire shipped. Can’t go wrong, I’ve done it with all my leases.

Note to self, don’t buy Shakey’s lease turn in cars with lot-rotted used rubbers.

There are at least 2 very reputable online companies that specialize in used tires that are inspected and have a return policy. Free shipping too. I’m in metro detroit, trust me I’d never trust a local shop either, lol
