Mocha interior?
This seems like a pretty good deal. I am in pnw, and this seems worth paying extra to the iX shipped over to Seattle. Tougher market to get good deals here.
I got a 540 a few days ago
Hope that means youāre moving on from Tesla.
We should open up a group order
We may have enough allocations for such an undertaking but Iāve had less than great experiences with such prospects.
Carvana holding that bag now
Shift held my Model 3 bag so hard they had to file bankruptcy.
Hope you like your soon-to-be iX!
I have a dealer marking up the MF to .0009. Iām fine with that if he would honor the one pay reduction of -.0007 to .0002. Heās saying that one-pay MF is .0004 and set by BMW. Is there any truth to this?
If thatās indeed the case, the obvious move is to swap to max MSDs (assuming he goes by the book there).
I would ask him for the bulletin that states that (It doesnāt exist)
The minimum sale buy/sell rate is .00005.
As in 10 MSD with each being -.00007? That sounds like MBFS and not BMWFS
then its about the same as max MSDs?
BMW one-pay reduction is -0.0007.
The maximum MSD reduction for BMW is 7 MSDs. Each MSD reducing MF by -.00006 for a total reduction of -.00042.
If you calculate the cash flows, a one-pay with reduction of -.0007 is optimal assuming 5.25% risk-free interest rate and factoring in marginal tax rate.
If the reduction is only -.0005 as quoted by the dealer, then it is optimal to forgo the one-pay and lease with the 7 max MSDs (difference only .00008).
At the end of the day, all weāre doing here is trying to structure deals that are optimal for our financial situations and the collective knowledge is powerful which makes this forum great.
Regardless, there is still a lot to negotiate to make a deal with this dealer.
Thoughts on this offer for a custom build xDrive50? I havenāt asked for max MSD yet, so will need to factor that in. Based in the Bay Area.

How do you feel about sinking the boat in the Atlantic? Say, of the Portuguese coast?
This deal is pretty much unbeatable right now isnāt it? How could you possibly reduce it even more!
Intending to do so with 7 MSDs.
Not sure about some of the fees in there e.g. Purch Option LEV Add of $300 and DMV Fees of $1002 (I checked DMV and it should be $899). But yea these are marginal.
Purchase option isnāt charged unless you actually purchase.
You can avoid the disposition fee end of lease by hopping back into another BMW or buy out the lease.
The DMV sounds about right based on the numbers we pull regularly when selling to CA buyers.
