Looking around my area (Dallas) and seeing many new 2024 i4 and i5 along with demo models still siting at local lots. I know BMW stops lease support of previous model year starting in April, so March is a good time for 2024 deals.
Question is… what cars are looking to be best - deal wise. I’ve been seeing a few demo i5 m60s posts with big discounts (20-23%) but also new i4/i5 with 10-12mo in inventory.
What is the better approach with these for March?
Drink a pint, do the research on what you’d need, make an offer.
Not a need, just a want and shopping for the best deal… Could be a $300mo i4 or $600mo i5 m60. Whatever pencils out to be a stupid deal and the dealer wants gone. Unsure if a demo or a sitting new unit is the way which bmw is approaching these to move for March.

Signed an i4 last month, 424 a month for 15k miles 36 months. Low 300s is not possible, as for i5s i have a dealer doing mid 500s on a new one 73k msrp I think
Demo. You’ll need to post a calculator here showing what discount gets you to those payments.
I would love to have a go at those i5s.
Will pm you
Some context definitely needs to be given when you’re throwing out price ranges like that on a thread where the OP is Texas based.
Like the fact that you’re based out of Florida, which is a completely different animal tax structure wise to Texas (Sales tax is on the sale price vs monthly)
Correct. Not a fan of how TX makes you pay for taxes up front, but I also have a Montana LLC that I can register with to avoid that. Most of the local dealers wont mess with it though.
You won’t get any argument from me that taxation is theft but there’s a reason behind their apprehension to go down that rabbit hole. ![]()
That’s true, thanks for the feedback
Can usually spot some Montana plates around Highland Park Village
