Two things: 1) wrong area 2) AFS doesn’t allow transfers so you’ll still be responsible for the car.

What do you mean wrong area? And I confirm with Audi financial I can transfer the lease

you remain liable for it, though.

I think folks are just trying to say that technically it’s not a transfer; the “new”/additional lessees name is added to your existing contract. Thus in the event of non-payment, default, contract violation, etc., you (the original lessee) are still liable. It’s an Audi/VW thing in this case…

You might want to structure it as a “one-pay” lease at around $12,000, where the full amount is paid upfront directly to Audi.
That way, there are no monthly payments at risk of default.
