Any reason you’re not doing 36-month lease?
If you change it to 36-month, RV drops only 2% to 56%. And your payment will be about $60 less.
Its a nice spec but thats a heavy payment for a 330i.
Id consider targeting a leftover 2023 5 series loaner. Look at dealer inventories, take a peek at norcal dealers too
Nay from me.
Good looking car and good looking discount… why wouldn’t you buy it at that price?
The rent:buy ratio here is something you’d be more likely to see at rentacenter.
FWIW, BMW leases on new ICE cars have not been that competitive, even with a double discount discount off MSRP. If you don’t have a loyalty or corporate incentive, the numbers won’t look too appealing.
@Veekeepoo - Will the dealer offer the same discount if you go the finance route?
That is too much for a relatively low spec 330i m-sport, but that just might be the market we are in right now. Wait until April to see if MF or rebates gets any better.
$2500 drive off sounds marked up tbh. Should be less than 2k for a drive off. Also should do 36mo lease it’s BMW sweet spot.
A few years ago a high $600mo payment could get you into a 540i.
Our 330e lease is ending in April and seeing these types of numbers I also think better to wait until next month for end of quarter to see if things improve. I am currently paying ~450 per month all in for 36/10k lease (DAS was approx 1000 back then)
Want to explain what this means?
Marked up dealer fees.
I quite literally have a 540i currently available in the high 500’s.
And you know this based on what? There is no breakdown. There is no way for any of us to know what kind of fees are included in this deal.
Well he’s saying it’s drive off… So there’s only so many fees that can be accounted for in a drive off. Also I used to be the one inputting those numbers and $2500 is a little high.
23 demo? Better car and lower price point VS the above
BMW acquisition fee + doc fees + registration fees + other fees. OP can always clarify.
Not sure I understand. Were you a car salesman?
That is subjective. The 330i is a smaller car (space-wise), and not as heavy as the 540i. The 5 series has a 6 cylinder engine vs the 4 cylinder in the 3 series - so more power in the 540i. Driving dynamics are going to be different.
Since OP is in California, not sure how much insurance costs would vary on either car.
Yes I worked at a LA area BMW dealer for years.
Could be a straight down payment with all fees capped in, there is legitimate no way to know this without a breakdown, for all we know all he’s paying in fees is a couple hundred bucks for doc fee, plates, plus acquisition.
So I’m moving out of the country… I really want 24 months but 30 was my max. I am going from a 2020 330i xdrive with a payment of $300 plus tax. My lease was up Dec 3rd and I took a 60 day extension hoping terms would get butter but nothing… so I’m forced to do it now.
