2023 VW Jetta, cash purchase. How much of a discount to expect?

Hey guys, helping a friend with a purchase. He wants to buy a 2023 VW Jetta S, msrp $22,500.

How much of a reasonable discount should he expect to get on a purchase. There’s no rebates or incentives. No banks or financing involved, and not leasing. Car will be paid in full on delivery.

Any advice?

Just keep in mind that it’s really barebones by today’s standards. There are better equipped cars at the same price FYI.
