Who are the highest Sequoia buyers out there? Specifically for trd pro trim.
@HersheySweet neighbors
I’m guessing you mean Mannheim, or a dealer desperate for inventory.
Prob a wholesaler who will run it through the block like @HersheySweet said. If your feeling shady you could post to WCC and prob get some exporters to knock on your door
Picked up a new Sequoia TRD Pro black on red last week. On the fence about keeping it vs flipping. What would be the MMR for this with just 20 miles on it?
95ish I believe. List it for sale with free shipping to south Florida or California and you’ll prob get over $100k
Some guy reached out to me and offered 22.5k over MSRP. Seems suspicious.
Exporter probably. It’s very hard to find anyone bidding at MMR these days, let alone over. As a seller I’m not sure if you get into any trouble for selling to an exporter, the store probably does though.
It’s possible. I’d have no issue selling to an exporter. Just meet at a bank and make sure they have certified funds. Good luck!
I think I’m the only sucker on here looking for one to keep long term.
I got it to keep long term. Bought it as a surprise gift for my wife. Unfortunately, she hates it. She drove it once around the block and parked it.
I’m not a BOF SUV type of guy and prefer my Cayenne Turbo S for daily duty otherwise I’d keep it and use it as my daily. So, I have to make a decision to either get rid of it while it’s still worth something, or learn to love driving this huge SUV.
This is what happens when you blind buy a vehicle. There were no Sequoias out there for me to even see, let alone test drive.
My friend in Dubai asked me to ship it to him. They’re selling for around $135k there and in neighboring Saudi Arabia. I just don’t have the time nor patience to deal with the logistics of that. So an exporter might just be the best bet.
I am also in that boat, and as Hasmanx pointed out, while my wife “could” use this as her vehicle, it would likely be mine (She has a Rav4Prime) so I don’t care so much about the MPG. Just want a big, reliable SUV. Unfortunate I can’t find any to drive LOL
You don’t surprise your wife with $80k cars as gifts? What are you, poor?
My friend did the same thing for his wife but instead it was a Bronco Outer Banks. She hated it (too basic for her). She wanted a Grand Wagoneer and that’s what he ended up getting her.
I don’t think this first gen updated Sequoia is a keeper. I’d wait a refresh or two. It’s the same with the RAV4 Prime - Toyota fixed many of the issues I had with the 21 in subsequent years - backlit buttons, 6.6kW charging by default, JBL audio standard in XSE, etc.
How do I get access to exporters?
Can’t speak for the TRD Pros or Capstones but I know plenty of dealers selling Platinums at MSRP.
Not much money (if any) to be made on platinums. I tried to get quotes on a red capstone that was available end of this month in midwest and most wouldn’t price it over 85-86k. Likely because of the color.
