Unless the angle is deceiving or that guy is 7ft tall, it looks smaller then a tundra. I’m 6’1’ and the hood of a tundra isn’t just above my waist. It’s like chest high
I think it is the angle. In the 1st picture of the 1st link, looks like the guy was a higher ground. The front and side profiles just look too much like the Tundra. I don’t think Toyota would make the Tacoma look nearly identical, but a smaller version of the Tundra.

Plus the one driving, unless he’s 5’4,his head would be closer to the roof in a Tacoma. Mine pretty much hits the roof

Since both the Maverick and the Tacoma’s big brother the Tundra come in hybrid form, do you think Toyota will actually use some of their hybrid prowess and give us a Tacoma hybrid finally?
2023-24. They have to. Gas won’t be going down in the future and that’s the biggest gripe I hear about Toyota trucks is the terrible mpg.

Have never, and will never understand the mid and small size truck category.
My 2013 explorer has more capability than any of them. Sitting in the passenger seat of a Tacoma there’s less room than a Camry. It’s outrageous to me
