I am looking to lease a 2023 Subaru Sport. As I read more and more posts, Youtube stuff, I see that different buyers start their negotiating offers ranging from 7-18% off the MSRP. Is this a sound negotiating tacting to send to dealers as a “feeler” or is this unreasonable?
Would negotiating from the invoice price also be something to start negotiating from?
Look at the brokers here, and see if you can get ‘better’. Don’t assume some random %

Thank you for replying Forbs!
Whats a Subaru Sport? You forgot to mention the model
If you lowball dealers or brokers you usually wont get a response, the pricing that is possible varies greatly depending on the vehicle. For example a WRX will have a large discount but a Crosstrek has minimal to no discount

My baad. Crosstrek
Jeff even though the 2024 Crosstrek is out, I figured better deals would me more available for the 2023 models.
Yes there is better deals on the 23s but keep in mind that Crosstreks are not giveaway vehicles
