For those that have taken delivery, how was your insurance? My ins - presently through Tesla (don’t know underwriter) wanted 400/mo. Rivian ins was 290/mo. All of these are more than double of my other equally msrp vehicles.
It’s taken off the selling price, a la before taxes.
$1000/yr. Approximately the same as my 2016 BMW sedan.
That’s about where the rest of my others fall. But this one seems special.
I have a deposit down on a 2024 R1T Dual Large and State Farm wants just under $200/mo. Haven’t decided if im going through with it yet, but wanted to lock in the spec before it went unavailable.
One thing I am curious about though - why does Rivian require you to pay the $1800 destination fee up front and not add it into the lease like every other brand?
IIRC, all other brands include the destination fee as part of the MSRP, so you’re technically just paying the depreciation and rent charge for it, not the entire amount.
Can you order a new rivian and get the same deal? The in-stock are shit spec’s
No, only applies to in stock.

$1800 is not paid upfront boss, it’s included in the MSRP in the actual final contract.

Looks like my terms for Georgia would be as follows;
R1T Dual Large w/ XPel Stealth and $6k F&F applied
So all in, the effective monthly cost is $655.80/mo

Hmm somebody on Reddit reporting that MF has gone down to 0($39 total rent charge) for 2024 Dual Large R1Ts. Anybody here got their contract yet?
I’m still waiting to submit/finalize my lease with Rivian until the car is ready to be scheduled for delivery, but when I threw the numbers into the calculator I was getting a near 0 MF as well.
I didn’t want to submit, take the credit hit for the hard pull, then have to get a second pull a month later if that’s when the car is ready. I know some give you a 45 day window, others are 14 to count as a single pull.
I will say, trying to get an answer from my guide has been difficult, they are just completely non responsive.

Here’s the MF I got after running my credit. It was too much of upfront cost to get the car in LV. Was looking at
Registration: $1200 every year.
Car insurance through Costco: $160 a month - which I can live with 
MSRP: $77,250 - not including delivery $1800
Due at signing: $3900 that’s with 1000 down + 500 deposit and not including 7500 EV. That goes toward the Cap cost.
Monthly payment : $637 w/12k miles a yr
Is there any way to get fees into the configuration calculator? They don’t seem to provide them at all. Fortunately I live in a no tax state.

How is this leasing better than the R1T? R1T should be much cheaper at $25k lower MSRP.

The above is with the 7k down. It’s not a great deal but if someone wants a R1S, then why not get the R1S with the Quad motors and large batter parck for a few dollars cheaper than a standard R1S.

No. Cash down. Just like the other R1S out there. They are excluded from FnF but if someone must have a R1S and are willing to pay the higher price than why not get the quad motor and larger batter park included.
