Thanks! I thought so as well. Car even has the sport tailpipes and 21" 911 wheels. It’s really beautiful!

$6k in strictly taxes and fees at signing seems high? I imagine $1k-ish each for first month, DMV and acquisition fee. What else?

Those are the 21" Cayenne Exclusive Design Wheel in High Gloss Black. Porsche does not make a 21’ 911 wheel for the Cayenne. But anyways, nice deal. Enjoy the car.

Max will be back shortly. He is at his local Porsche store standing next to a Macan base on the showroom floor, barking to anyone who even glances at it, “this only has four cylinders!”

Once upon a time, in the vibrant city of Riverside, there lived a man named Max. Max was an ardent automobile enthusiast and had a peculiar disdain for cars with four cylinders. He believed that they lacked power, excitement, and the sheer thrill of the road. Max’s garage was a testament to his passion, adorned with an array of high-performance vehicles with six, eight, or even twelve cylinders, all ready to roar to life at a moment’s notice.

Max’s dislike for four-cylinder cars stemmed from an incident in his youth. He had just obtained his driver’s license and eagerly purchased his first car—a used, four-cylinder compact. Max hoped to experience the freedom of the open road, but he found the car underwhelming. Its acceleration was lackluster, and it struggled on uphill climbs. Max yearned for more speed, power, and a symphony of revving engines that could only be found in larger motor configurations.

As the years went by, Max’s disdain for four-cylinder cars only intensified. He joined online forums and engaged in spirited debates, arguing vehemently against their merits. Max became known as the “Cylinder Crusader” among his like-minded friends, as he passionately campaigned for the exclusion of four-cylinder vehicles from his beloved automotive landscape.

One day, Max stumbled upon an intriguing advertisement for a local car show, claiming to showcase the most powerful and extraordinary vehicles in the city. Eager to witness the spectacle and perhaps find new comrades who shared his disdain, Max decided to attend the event.

Arriving at the car show, Max’s eyes widened as he beheld a breathtaking array of automobiles, each more formidable than the last. Supercharged V8s, sleek V12 exotics, and roaring muscle cars dominated the scene. Max felt a sense of satisfaction, as if he had found his automotive haven.

However, as he explored the show, something unexpected happened. Max caught sight of a small, unassuming vehicle tucked away in a corner. It was a compact hatchback, devoid of the muscular appearance that typically drew his attention. To his surprise, the car had a modest four-cylinder engine under its hood.

Curiosity piqued, Max approached the car and struck up a conversation with its owner, a young engineer named Lily. She explained that the car was her custom-built project, modified with cutting-edge technology and performance enhancements. Despite its humble appearance, the vehicle packed a punch that rivaled some of the larger-engine cars at the show.

Intrigued by Lily’s passion and technical knowledge, Max found himself engrossed in a discussion about the engineering marvels and efficiency achieved in four-cylinder engines. Lily challenged Max’s preconceived notions, urging him to consider the advancements and achievements of automotive technology that had made even smaller engines capable of remarkable feats.

As the conversation unfolded, Max realized that he had been too quick to judge. He had allowed his prejudice to cloud his perception of an entire class of vehicles. With newfound humility, Max acknowledged that cars with four cylinders could indeed offer performance, fuel efficiency, and a unique driving experience that was worth exploring.

From that day forward, Max’s perspective on four-cylinder cars underwent a radical transformation. He began to appreciate the nuances and complexities of different engine configurations, rather than dismissing them outright. Max even purchased a sporty, turbocharged four-cylinder coupe, embracing the diversity and excitement that the automotive world had to offer.

Max’s journey reminded him of the importance of keeping an open mind and embracing change. He became an advocate for education and enlightenment, sharing his story and newfound appreciation for all kinds of cars. Max’s passion for automobiles remained unwavering, but he now celebrated the unity that could be found within the diverse world of engines, knowing that true automotive

Your wish is my command:

Once upon a time, in Riverside’s heart,
There dwelled a man named Max, with love for cars.
Yet he despised four cylinders, their art
He found lackluster, lacking joy and stars.

His garage filled with vehicles of might,
With engines six, eight, or twelve cylinders.
Max yearned for power, speed, a thrilling flight,
A symphony of revs, road warriors.

For in his youth, he bought a compact car,
A humble four-cylinder, weak in drive.
Its acceleration left him unmarred,
Max sought more vigor, roaring engines alive.

Through forums, Max voiced his discontent,
The “Cylinder Crusader” was his name.
He argued with a passion never spent,
Against the merits of a car so tame.

One day, a car show ad did catch his eye,
Promising power, spectacles profound.
Max felt compelled to witness, mystified,
And find companions who shared his renown.

Arriving there, he marveled at the sight,
Exotic V12s and muscle cars’ roar.
Each vehicle exuded pure delight,
An automotive haven he’d explore.

Yet hidden in a corner, Max did see,
A hatchback with a modest four-cylinder.
Curiosity grew, he went to see,
To learn the story of this tiny pillar.

The owner, Lily, an engineer bright,
Unveiled the car’s enhancements, her pride.
Max listened with an open mind, alight,
As Lily’s words the truth did soon confide.

She spoke of modern tech, advancements grand,
That made small engines mighty, strong, and fast.
Max’s preconceptions began to disband,
Enlightenment replaced judgments amassed.

Max now understood his bias had erred,
In dismissing four cylinders outright.
He grasped the beauty that could be conferred,
And embraced diversity’s shining light.

With newfound wisdom, Max acquired a Tesla,
A marvel of efficiency and grace.
He celebrated all cars’ diverse spectra,
Acknowledging each one’s unique embrace.

Max spread his story, teaching far and wide,
Of the importance to embrace and learn.
He celebrated unity, not divide,
Within the automotive world’s great churn.

So, let Max’s journey be a testament,
To keep an open mind, let go of hate.
For in diversity, true joys are sent,
And appreciation for all engines await.
