Fairly big discount on the lower trim (which is always harder to get)–cool!
You didn’t mention the amount DAS.
That would make your figures more helpful to anyone else currently shopping.
That number is so low I would suspect the Explorer has some equity.
Under $400 with no other details (MSDs , One Pay) is pretty suspicious
I don’t think MSDs apply if doing one pay?
That’s how the frontiers are structured. One Pay + MSDs
Just this post is missing some info other than ‘returned an Explorer’.
I see what you’re saying but if you’re paying everything up front, what risk to the bank are MSDs lowering?
NMAC is an exception but they do accept MSD on top of one pay.
The risk you don’t return the car or return it damaged and don’t pay for the damage.
And it’s not just about risk, it’s working capital for NMAC. They can use it to fund more leases.
FWIW, OnePay + 9(max) MSDs was an effective 262/m for me on the AWD S.
Will be getting $2250 back at the end.
And don’t forget the ability to stretch the term out to 24 months if you’d like I think many of us plan to do that for the Pathfinders and Frontiers.
Sorry DAS was $500 which included first month.
There was no equity in the explorer as Ford didn’t allow anyone to buy it besides ford. At lease return ford just bought it and called it a wash instead of having to pay turn in fees etc…
Well you did miss the parts about
If your payments are $353 then they took about $2k or more from the Explorer
Without the contract I can’t tell if they grabbed the Deposits as well.
Did you get this at Larry Miller 104 / Denver? I got a similar deal there. All the other Nissan dealers within 150 miles of Denver wouldn’t even come close.
500 down included first month so didn’t feel the need to include.
Out the door with tax was 500 DAS, $353 a month. Calculate it however you would like.
Also, I already said the ford was purchased by ford. Not Nissan. 2 different dealers, 2 diff transactions.
Yep. Laid it out for them pretty much and they accepted quick. They did a frontier deal for us as well
Smart move! And non Ford dealers CAN buy a Ford Lease, as long as that dealership group owns a Ford Dealership. This is why I said so much.
Your title of $353 is going to make some LeaseHackr call up that dealership and Demand a $353 Pathfinder with $0 Down and No TTL, that’s why I said ‘suspicious’, your post left out a lot of info. But hope they enjoy it! you got a nice deal
