Contacted a dealer for a 2023 Nissan Ariya Engage + AWD in TX.
The MSRP is $53,270 on the window sticker
Market value selling price $49,270
Dealer discount $1,254.93
Sales price before rebates $48,015.07
Rebate $16,180…not sure how the rebate is that much. What I got from Edmunds is $9,500 and $2,720. MF .00111 and RV 66%.
I think there is $2,000 dealer cash.
I do not have loyalty.
Using the numbers they gave MF .00206 and what I figured out RV is 57.34%. Unless they use the market selling price of $49,270 and RV is 62%. Can they change the RV? I confirmed they were using Nissan to lease and not another lender. That is how I am getting the $375 monthly.
What am I not seeing? I was going to counter and ask for 11% off MSRP and have them contact Nissan to get sales tax credit to make the deal. But, why is the RV so low? I thought that is fixed by Nissan.
From the VIN and the actual MSRP on the window sticker is $53,270. So, I found it odd the price was different in the deal sheet. And compound the RV issues. I’ll reach out and have them double check the numbers.
There are addendums I’m sure as there is a second sticker on the photo of the car. So, again surprised I didn’t seem them on the deal sheet.
Did some shopping and this is the best offer I have gotten. The car has hail damage from all the hail TX has gotten from storms. They did PDR and said it will not show on the CarFax.
Should I take this deal or look for one that hasn’t had hail damage repaired?
Have you seen the damage? If you can’t see it, who cares, take the deal IMO. This is the cost of a mid level dinner per month, not much to worry about!
Went to take a look today and it all checks out. It looks really good and can’t see any hail damage from the PDR. Will more than likely sign and pick up Monday.
