First lease deal with what I have learned looking at this website for a couple months.
Really happy with the car. The PHEV only comes in the top trim so has upgraded sound system, leather, heated / cooled front seats / heated back seats / wireless charging pad / etc.
$51,540 MSRP
$46,386 agreed upon selling price
$6900 rebates
I think this is a great lease candidate, most of these cars are on the lot 300 plus days. I emailed every dealer in 200 mile radius for this car and only one agreed upon my offer, there was probably 18 cars or so in that radius.
Was in and out of the dealer in about 30 minutes but had to drive 3.5 hours for the deal. The Kia sales guy said it was the best deal he had seen in his 3 years there but not sure if he was just trying to make me feel good about it lmao. I could’ve got a better deal on EV6 but my wife refused to get full electric, and we test drove the Ionic 5 and were surprised that is was kind of small with the hatchback roof.
I can’t get the calculator to line up quite right but is >11 year leasehackr calculator score.

Also an important note is I’m battling 10% sales tax on this deal so you could probably do better in other states.

This is on a ‘23?
Have you seen the ‘25?
They should’ve taken another $10k off this unit

A previous generation two year old vehicle with barely a 10% discount?

Don’t see where I’m dreaming…if it was a desirable car it would’ve sold years ago (literally years)

What a great deal! What was the initial offers you received vs what did you end up negotiating? Also, how did you negotiate to that price?

RateFindr won’t load any 2023 cars for me. What were the rebates that you got? I’d like to try to replicate this, I had been under the impression automakers didn’t provide rebates for 2023s by late 2024.
Also I’m not sure about the other guy in here who said you should have gotten another 10k on it, I couldn’t imagine a dealer agreeing to that. I have to imagine the thing could do at least 36k at auction.
Oh I see what you’re saying. Back in July when this was posted there were still rebates.
I don’t like my odds of getting a dealer to part with one for an extra 7k ontop of the 5k this guy got.
