It would lower the realized cost per mile, sure, but that doesn’t change that fact of what the cost should have been. This will never be a great deal.
Can this be replicated?
Will check fuses. Thanks for the heads up. Have seen that mentioned a few places. I’m definitely going to be on top of lemon laws. Hope that was a one-time issue for you.
If OP has a mystery problem that just cant be solved, that requires the vehicle be in the shop many, many times, then perhaps a buyback could get them out of this lease.
Similar experience, I walked to a Jeep dealer, and they offered me $999/month + DAS for a $72k wrangler. They asked me many questions, and kept pushing me to sign it. I almost signed it.
Are these dealers stupid? lol that’s bmw/mercedes territory
GLE450e buyers feeling great after reading this thread.
Are they stupid to let people like OP sign deals that pay their months overhead?
And OP knew about LH, imagine what other people are signing
Crazy my wife couldn’t believe it when they sent the quote over
lol I thought the same thing.
And they know this. They are just so full of sh*t and great actors. It’s funny to think that for my last lease, they started $650 away from my target monthly. And the entire time from negotiations all the way up to delivery, every single person in that camp is reminding me how they are making no money. Except for my sales guy. He was cool and real and said he doesn’t care if they sold it to me for $1. His metrics are volume.
This same dealer calls me back like hey we can do same payment as other dealer with $3K down. I’m like other deal is first months at signing. Told them to leave me alone lol
