2023 Hyundai Venue SE vs Kia Forte LXS

Have a couple of offers in hand and am curious to consider some of y’all’s opinions as I mull it over…

2023 Hyundai Venue SE
MSRP: $21,335
Lease details: $363.18 per month, 36 months, 12,000 miles per year, $0 down including all taxes and fees.

2023 Kia Forte LXS
MSRP: $21,535
Lease details: $364.90 per month ($340.90/mo. + $24/mo. maintenance coverage), 36 months, 10,000 miles per year, $0 down including all taxes and fees.

Which deal do y’all think is best? The Hyundai is a town over, so I have only been able to drive the Kia thus far. I live in a hilly town in the northeast and I value an enjoyable driving experience. I know neither of these is sporty, per say. Just curious to hear what y’all think.

Both seem like horrible deals. A Nissan truck with an MSRP 2-3x as much has a lower payment. I know you’re probably not cross shopping a Kia forte with a Nissan truck, but if you’re looking at cars like these then I assume total cost of ownership is your main concern.

If you’re set on these cars, finance them

You should first consider if paying 13-14k for a lease on a 21k car makes sense. :grimacing:

Not helping a lot but a little bit better offer. No guarantee to get it but cost nothing to try.
Also any reason why one car is for 12k and the other for 10k miles?

These are terrible. Hard hard pass.

Consider financing a Forte GT, VW GLI, etc or leasing a WRX.

Depends on your use case of weather you like a new car upgrade every 2-3 years or you like to own and have it passed
